Cottage in the woods We stayed at the cottage (which is not on the main property but 2 miles up the road). It was tiny, loud, uncomfortable and lacked basic amenities like a closet or hangers, bath soaps and shampoo, and coffee (although there was a coffee maker). The big problem is that it sits right above a road and we heard trucks and motorcycles all night long. Massood offered to let us change rooms but we were so disappointed that we just cut our trip short instead.

Avoid at all costs! I had to cancel my visit due to a family emergency and they still tried to charge me for my full stay. I cancelled 11 days before my visit. When I didn't hear back I called and they claimed they don't check their emails 'We get thousands of emails'. Later they still tried to charge me the full rate! I called again and they claimed that my mobile number was wrong (not true, plus they also had my email address). If you look at their website the cancellation policy is conveniently just placeholder text. The person on the phone was clearly Masood, but he kept saying 'I need to check with my boss' as a way to end calls and dodge responsibility. Stay away.

I will stay again Super cute room, the location is beautiful. the owner was extremely nice and goes out of his way for guest. Bed was comfy. The coffee was excellent The top sheet had sap or something sticky. The fridge was a bit dirty.

Anniversary getaway It was so peaceful and quiet

Cabin getaway in beautiful Redwoods Relaxing cabin for us, 2 adults, one teen and a 6 yr old. We enjoyed the view of the creek, and seeing the redwoods outside. As others have mentioned, it is rustic…not luxury, and that is what we were looking for. Full kitchen, but we only used microwave to heat food. Queen bed was comfortable, though pillows were thin. I’d recommend bringing your own, as well as towels if you like your own fluffy thick ones. The first night we arrived (Fri) property wasn’t full, and we parked easily. It became full by Sat evening, and we had to be extra careful maneuvering in/out of our spot. Sewer line smell happened for about 45 min Sun morning, but went away. I figure it’s part of having cabins/RVs in a semi-rural area. Masood is very friendly, easy to checkin and checkout. Will come back.
