Fantastic hotel! Location right by the ocean, free shuttle bus to the center of Funchal, ala carte themed restaurant, delicious food - varied and a lot of seafood, all inclusive works flawlessly - I don't know which sangria is better red or white. Rooms spotlessly clean functional large bathroom. In the evening, animations including Portuguese folklore - I greet Filip from the reception who stole the show :) Service at the highest level - If Madeira is for sure RIU. The view from the restaurant from the terrace is great. Not far from the hotel at the end of the boardwalk, you can go up the cliff off the trail.

Renovated in 2022, the Hotel Royal Orchid is a great choice for accommodation in Canico.The hotel offers easy access to Cristiano Ronaldo International Airport, just 11km away. Seeing Canico's sights from this hotel is easy with Reis Magos Promenade, Manta Diving Madeira and Miradouro Pico da Atalaia all close by.This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. Stay as expected. The hotel is well located and the half board is good, with good quality products. Neat facilities, well soundproofed rooms, in short I recommend it.

This hotel is one of the three hotels. The reception is located at Hotel Rocamar, which is quite far. The room is spacious with a kitchenette, but the decor is a little simple and old-fashioned . The balcony is huge with a sea view. There is a hotel private parking area that costs 7.50 euros per night. Otherwise there are free parking on the street which is hard to find and paid parking which is free at night. The gym, swimming pool, sauna, and steam room are free of charge m, but they close at 6 pm, which is quite inconvenient. There are also many restaurants inside, which you choose to include with the room. I overheard that they did program for Christmas and New Year. It is perfect for those who just want to stay in the resort and not to go around the island.
