Excellent location next to train/ bus station but also quiet and safe so 5 stars.
Very clean bathroom. Bedsheet could be cleaner.
Reception in the morning not very friendly and impatient. Night time one was ok.

Very good youth hostel, rich activities and good atmosphere.
About 6 minutes walk from the beach. A lady took me to the beach for yoga in the morning.
A public kitchen is provided, and eggs and noodles are provided for breakfast, which can be made by yourself.

Had to listen to drunk 38 year olds talk about how all American women are awful and the only good ones are in SE Asia or E Europe - and when I walked away back to my bunk, was confronted by one of them and I said I didn’t like how he was speaking about women it made him sound gross so he hit me in the face while I was literally sitting on my own bunk bed. Staff allowed him to stay. I left for my own safety. No manager contacted me at all. They don’t seem concerned at all,

Great spot. Check in went smoothly, took a little tour, which was helpful. There were people relaxing outside the hostel and in the main lobby area as well. It was really noisy for a few minutes, but the manager quickly quieted things down.
I would definitely stay here again.

This was a great place to stay. It's well managed, clean, staff are cool, and it's right next to both downtown and the beach. I saw bad reviews on here from years ago, I guess the owner changed? There are lockers so bring a lock and you can store your stuff. The pods are way better than normal bunk beds, a little light above the bed, outlets, and a privacy curtain. There were big windows in the room so it was airy and comfortable. You also get a breakfast each day and they have events some nights, such as a cookout. Overall, it was a great experience being there.

I did not sleep at all because the guy above me snored all nite. I will never stay at a hostel again
