This review is long overdue but so deserved as Luis really made our visit to El Salvador the best experience! We paid him extra to pick us up from the airport and drive us around to the sites outside of the city, and it was so worth it. He was such a great tour guide - providing us suggestions of things to do, places to go and where to buy what. He made us feel welcome in Santa Ana and extremely safe everywhere we went, which he took us to a lot of great places! The breakfast every morning was perfect! And the availability of fresh water whenever we wanted was a bonus! We walked into the city every night for dinner, and on the first day for a tour of the area with Curly Tours who showed us some hidden treasures - it was an easy walk. As you can tell from the photos, the patios in the home are very beautiful. It really was a treat staying here and meeting Luis and his family!

Thanks Luis for an excellent experience of El Salvadorean hospitality! We’ve enjoyed our relaxed stay in your home-away-from-home. -＞ We’ve had the pleasure of two days ‘exclusive & tailor-made’ sight-seeing: on day 1 we saw the archealogical sights around Santa Ana and had a nice lunch at the crater lake. The second day we enjoyed the coffee plantation and little towns of routa des flores. Every morning we enjoyed the surprise breakfast, something new to eat every day. This guesthouse very much deserves its ultra-high ranking!

Ficamos duas noites para visitar a região. Acomodações simples mas muito bem localizada perto da praça liberdade. Casa antiga estilo colonial espanhola, ambiente familiar e agradável. O dono é muito atencioso, fala bem inglês e nos deu dicas sobre o que fazer e qual o melhoras horário. Super indico a Casa Vieja.
