We said - change it, we'll come and pay when we have change. Naturally, she says - I won't give you the key until you pay the tax, go and change it yourself (in another country, it's not clear where, with backpacks, still not in the room) If she had registered us (not checked us in, but just written out the documents) when we arrived, while we were walking to the city, maybe we would have changed it there, but she was too lazy, let me remind you. Now the real crux is brewing. She says - ok, pay by card. We say - your Russian card doesn't work. She tries. It really doesn't work. She says - ok, change it, bring it later. Okay, it would seem we've agreed on something. But... She takes the card and starts rewriting its details. And on the card there is both the expiration date and the back digits. Our stay is fully paid. We are also ready to pay for the tax. But she doesn't have change. And she just brazenly rewrites the card details. Without even asking. I couldn't stand it anymore. I took the room key myself, took the card and we left. In the end, we exchanged the money ourselves and paid. The best: even if you live for 1 day, even for a month - they will only give you water on the first day. Then die of thirst.
