Grupotel Ibiza Beach Resort - Adults Only

Downside:- We spent a week here 25th July. Arrived at 10:30am and were told to wait outside whilst they checked us in. 3hrs later we were allocated a room. Ordered a superior room and that wasn’t up to much, very basic. After putting my case on the bed, the wheel made a mark on the quilt, and that’s how its stayed for the whole week despite cleaners coming in every day. Had to pay €10 a day to hire the safe which is a complete rip off. Had to pay €10 to hire a towel for the duration. Breakfast doesn’t open until 8am and closes at 10am. The choice of food for breakfast or Dinner was repetitive and Luke warm. Sun loungers, are old and worn. Drinks are very expensive. We had to leave at 7:50am to come home, yet they wouldn’t open breakfast for us to have a meal before I left. Upside:- Staff are very nice except the manager, who needs retraining in customer services or needs to find another lesser job elsewhere. The hotel occupies a nice position overlooking the sea. Conclusion:- The hotel has good potential with a new manager and some investment in the property. If is was you, pay a little extra and go elsewhere.

The reception team are terrible and the reception manager Jessica was so rude at check in and went out of her way to be unhelpful. We have stayed at this hotel twice before and booked the same category of room But this time we were given an inferior room. Tui was useless too and would not help and said to contact them after the holiday. It really a shame as rest of the staff and hotel is nice. Train you reception staff to be more competent and not treat clients like they are a nuisance.

We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and wanted to go to Ibiza, as that was where my husband proposed to me. After an awful flight, full of party goers, we arrived in the hotel reception exhausted . It was clean and modern. We were greeted by a male receptionist who was pleasant. We had to pay to hire the safe and pool towels. On arrival to our room we were extremely disappointed, we had been given a twin room, but had booked a double room and the room was ground floor with no view, just a car park. My husband immediately went to reception to ask why we hadn’t been given a double room, when we had booked one. The hotel manager came to see us and explained all rooms are ‘twin’ rooms even though you book a double room. On request they can be made double. We were both confused because on our booking we had requested a double room. My husband asked if we could up grade, but nothing was available. It was an extremely bad start to our celebrations and holiday. At that we both decided to accept the room we were given. The maid did come and change the bed to a double. After a disappointing start the holiday did get better. The location of the hotel is excellent and we throughly enjoyed the proximity to both the pool and beach. The two pools are lovely and quiet, unfortunately as advertised there are no sun loungers around the infinity pool, they are on a separate level upstairs and no cushioned sunbeds at either pools as in the brochure pictures. There are excellent restaurants and shops in the resort and we enjoyed each one. It is expensive to eat in the local restaurants, but the food is fresh and good quality. The hotel entertainment was good and was a nice addition to the hotel after dinner and enjoying a refreshing drink overlooking the bay. There is a much welcomed kettle in the rooms, but condiments are not replenished by the maid. The beach is beautiful and has crystal clear water to bathe in. Sunbeds and parasol for two is €24 but worth every penny. It is an up and coming resort and we are both glad we visited before it gets too commercialised.

extremely unprofessional reception! Today, our guest arrived at the hotel, and the reception team refused to check the reservation we made yesterday. They claimed to be "too busy" and did not make any effort to assist. When we called to follow up, they interrupted our conversation, gave no explanation, and eventually hung up on us. Our client was physically at the hotel 30 minutes ago, and no one provided any help or information. This level of service is absolutely unacceptable and damaging to our relationship with the guest.
