Gud hotel , best at lower price

This hotel is spotless and the family who run it are very nice and cannot do enough to help the guests. The food was very nice and homemade every day. We cannot fault this hotel or the service, thank you very much for a lovely holiday and look forward to coming back again in the near future.

This was our first trip to Italy and was so delighted to have chosen this perfect family-run hotel. From the first welcome from Rosanna, and celebratory glass of Prosecco we knew it was going to be a wonderful holiday. Our bags were taken to our room whilst we checked in, and thanks to the quiet and efficient air-con, it was cool, just perfect after a long day. The bed was super comfortable, and the bamboo pillow a novel experience, but it was surprisingly comfortable. The bathroom is compact, but sparkling clean - like everywhere throughout the hotel. I loved the pool! although it says it's unheated, it was really warm and so nice to climb into at the end of a hot day out and about. The food was outstanding! I loved every single mouthful - and all of it cooked by Mario Snr and his wife Pina, who were proud to showcase the local cuisine. I meant to ask for the recipe for the beans and pasta dish! Nothing was too much trouble - when our taxi was late in arriving, Pina took us to the opera, and then very kindly came back to pick us up! Every single one of the staff was brilliant, but a special mention to young Mario for his endless enthusiasm in ensuring our stay was the best, and his care when I fell outside, hurting my hand and wrist, and bringing an ice-bag ease the pain. He's a wee star! Thank you again everyone, you made our first visit to Italy an experience we will never forget!
