Hotel I Restauracja Bona

Still the best hotel in Sanok. It has an elevator, pool, restaurant, bar. Rugs are pretty thin. Has modern TVs. Monitored parking. The hotel could add individual air conditioners for the summer. Leaving the windows or balcony doors open at night is not a good idea = bugs and the loud noise of cars and motorcycles on the main road in front of the hotel.

We based ourselves here whilst visiting family. We would be out mostly and so choose this hotel as it offered family rooms for 2 adults and 2 children. As expected. Would stay again. Friendly hotel. Reception Very friendly, always present They spoke good English and checked us in ok Room Shower, not bath Hairdryer on wall in bathroom View overlooking river Fridge Kettle TV (polish) WiFi (free, works great with a fire tv stick) Wardrobe with lots of hooks for costs and places to put boots The bed was a twin, would prefer a double The beds were also quite low and there was no head board so you could not sit up and lean in bed. We asked for extra pillows and were gladly given. Beds where OK, could be more comfortable , noted 3 stars Breakfast Traditional polish offering, good Bread to make sandwiches with cheese, hams, egg dishes and salads. Toaster and grill/toasty machine to make mini toasted sandwiches, a hit with the kids Jams , Nutella Orange juice Good coffee machine Teas Water Cereals with milk Frankfurter Sausages in onions on the hot plate As you go in you are asked if you would like hot scrambled eggs , the portions are generous and are brought out quickly Car park Free Bike lock area also Outside Small slide and climbing frame for kids Outdoor sitting area There is a covered outdoor pool sectioned off and in need of repair. We did not expect a pool as it's not on the website. There on assume it's no longer part of the hotels offering or if it is, summer only Dinner We did not have dinner here but there was a good menu selection to meet any taste or need Dinner is served in the same room as breakfast Nearby The "Museum of Folk Architecture in Sanok" is just the other side of the river and free on a Monday. Well worth a visit . Even in February it was pleasant to walk around in the sun and see a bit of history whilst catching up with family There is also a skate park, tennis's courts, bike track of sorts, with a sandy area in the river bank for family outdoor entertainment in warmer times. A 10 min walk the hotel is "Stacja Paliw GROSAR Sanok" a 24 hour garage for essentials , basics, drinks, snacks etc.
