Wer einfach nur abschalten will, in wunderschöner, ruhiger Umgebung, bei sehr angenehmen Gastgebern, der ist hier goldrichtig. Angesichts der vielen, kleinen Schweinchen, Hühner, Enten bedauert man fast, kein kleines Mädchen oder Bub zu sein. Für Familienurlaube jedenfalls ideal. Die Umgebung lädt zu Wanderungen und zum Biken ein. Zwei der wärmsten Seen des Alpenraumes liegen ganz in der Näh; auf dem Bild hier der Klopeiner See vom "Hausberg", dem Kitzelberg, aus photografiert. Kleines Manko, gewiss nicht Schuld der Gastgeber: Ohne Automobil hat man es in diesem eher abgelegenem Teil Südost-Kärntens kurz vor der slowenischen Grenze (die Berge der slow. Alpenausläufer anbei) eher schwer. Aber: Kostenlose, brauchbare MBs sind im Preis inkludiert.

Kühe, Hühner, Schweine, Katzen und ein großer Fahrzeugpark für Groß (Traktor) und Klein (Kettcar) sowie eine Liegewiese. Wer früh aufstehen kann, darf beim Melken helfen. Dass sich manch Hofbewohner auf dem Teller wieder findet, muss ja nicht jedem Gast auf die Nase gebunden werden, erst Recht, wenn der verwurstete Vierbeiner einen Namen trug. Deshalb nur fast Bullerbü. Ein zusätzlicher Schlüssel erschließt einen Zugang zum Klopeiner See mit Badesteg. Alles bestens. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Touren in die Region.
