Absolutely love this hotel and St Johann in Tirol. This is the 5th time I have stayed here. Hotel is lovely and ideally situated just off the main square. The owners and staff cannot do enough for you. Lovely buffet breakfast with an option to order extras like freshly cooked ham and eggs at no extra cost. They even give you a lunch bag with a couple of bars of chocolate and encourage you to make up sandwiches / baps etc from the breakfast buffet to take for a picnic lunch. tea, coffee and some juices are available up until 5pm in the main dining room. The St Johann guest card gives you free use of the local buses and trains as well as entry to the local leisure centre and a free cable car ride up and down the Kitzbuheler Horn. Rooms are spacious and many come with a balcony with lovely views of the mountains surrounding St Johann. My favourite hotel.

The Fischer had such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere right from our arrival. It’s right at the heart of the lovely St Johann which is a perfect base to explore the Tirol region. The breakfast is generous and the bar is a great place to hang out after a day exploring. The room we stayed in was a little dated but it was kept spotlessly clean. We hope to be able to go back to experience the winter season there. What a team the Fischer has!!

Great hotel and wonderful Owners and staff, extremely helpful, nothing too much trouble. The hotel is in a perfect location for restaurants and shops and of course the ever tempting Confectioners. If there is anything that could be improved I would say my room was a little tired and dated, however, it was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable.

We’ve just had an amazing weeks stay at this superb family run hotel. We had breakfast included and the buffet style delights were very tasty. You can also get the some specials from a menu they rotate seasonally. The bar is also brilliant for some night drinks and they show all the live sporting events. The family and staff at the hotel are superb and provide daily updates of events and family run activities. Location is great, just a 20mtr walk to the towns main square. Can’t wait to go back. So relaxing!!

Our first time in Austria and we made the best choice staying at Hotel Fischer! We stayed in a ‘small twin’ however was still really spacious room. Central location to everything you need, mega comfy beds and amazing breakfast choices- also loved that we were given bags to take food for lunch - definitely appreciated whilst we we were out hiking every day. All the staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble- Big shout out to Nathan and Sinead - loveliest of people and phenomenal at their jobs. The hotel bar Michis always had a fab atmosphere and decent prices. And the bar snacks were lovely too! We don’t normally return to the same place twice but will definitely be back, and have recommended to family and friends.
