Obertauern Places Hotel by Valamar

Amazing time in Obertauern. We loved the hotel since it was close to the city center as well you had all what you need within the hotel. The night entertainment was perfect for big and small. You didn’t notice any kids within the hotel which was quiet and super for us. I believe the hotel is family hotel however since too much entertainment was offered everywhere. Genial

The stay was amazing and hotel is perfectly located nearby the city center only few walking way from the hotel. The room is comfortable and spacious. We will definitely will return since the kids are asking already. Entertainment floor with PlayStation were the best

Lovely stay, my only complaint is the food was a bit unhealthy otherwise, great location and really nice staff. The chef Marco was so lovely and is really helpful if you have food allergies or other food requirements, the skiing runs were really nice and nearby

Sooo I had the best experience! The staff was just wonderful! Chef Ante recommended the best meals and made us feel at home, also Ivana and her pizza making skills, immaculate I will definitely be recommending it to everyone and also visit next year!

Had a lovely stay at the Valamar Obertauern. The rooms, restaurant and spa areas were all lovely. Food was good with a great choice on the menu. Easy access to ski lifts. Just a one minute walk from the local ‘Obertauern Petersbühl’ 280 bus which runs in and out of Radstadt station - if you arrive by train (€6.30 from Radstadt; but you can go all the way if you have a ski pass). The only slight disappointment was that, even though the time for dinner Service states it’s open till 8:30 pm, the waiting staff and kitchen were clearly getting very twitchy and unhappy if you arrive too late and we felt a bit rushed at the end of our meal. Not a major issue but one would hope that the a four star hotel would be a little more accommodating to guests who choose to eat a little later. I’d like to give a special shout out to one of the wonderful concierges, Franica Radić. She was extremely lovely, helpful and welcoming from the outset and a great attribute to the hotel. She even went the extra mile after I’d had an unfortunate ski injury and had to leave a little early, she kindly took my skis back to the ski rental shop and managed to get a refund on the days for which I didn’t need them!
