Ich wollte mit freunden bei einer Harley Tour vom 9.6. auf den 10.6 2025 übernachten. Leider konnte ich an der Fahrt krankheitshalber nicht teilnehmen und bezahlte anstandslos die 90% Stornogebühr. So weit so gut.

We stayed as a family of six adults at Nassereiner Hof for 8 nights in March 25. We had excellent experiences with other "Family Hotels" in Austrian skiing resorts before, and were hoping for something similar. To start with the positive: for skiers the location of the hotel is excellent, just a few steps to the main gondola of the outstanding St Anton skiing resort. The wellness area of the hotel is lovely, with different saunas, steam baths, relaxation areas, etc. (But, no water or any cups in the relaxation areas, very unusual indeed). The food was ok, but the the sweet stuff was exceptional. Pastry chef Katharina created the most delicious desserts and cakes, every single day. We would also like to thank two wonderful staff members, Vladimir and Maya, who were always extremely friendly and helpful. The not so great: the rooms are small and lack a lot of basic things, like cupboard space and hooks for towels. But what impacted our stay (our sleep) most is that the rooms are remotely climate controlled and hopelessly overheated. The only way to cool the room down is by opening the window, but the hotel is surrounded by fairly busy roads (lots of busses and trucks), and there was also constant noise until very late from people returning from bars. When we asked if there were quieter rooms we were given the option to change to a higher room category, but it would have been at a substantial extra cost, and the room still faced a road... I guess what got us most was the unwillingness of the hotel management to engage. Everything a little bit out of the extraordinary was charged extra. We were six people, staying for eight nights (consuming plenty beverages!), during our stay we celebrated two birthdays and for this had two special bottles of wine. When we asked to have them with our dinner in the restaurant we were charged 32 EUR corkage per bottle. When we asked for a late check out on the last day (90 minutes after normal check out time, and the hotel had no arrivals on that day ) there was an extra charge of EUR 15 per person. Changing the room would have cost extra. The welcoming, warm and fuzzy feeling we got at other owner-run hotels in Austria is sadly missing at the Nassereiner Hof.

This hotel has the potential to be perfect: Amazing location, well designed rooms, very good kitchen, great spa. Unfortunately some policy choices by hotel management make this a lost opportunity: 1) The non Buffet dinners have tiny portion sizes, and when asked the staff for more, they try to charge you 15euros extra. We would usually leave hungry and just eat some snacks in the room. 2) They charge you for the tap water during dinner. Not much, but it just feels wrong. 3) The available wines at dinner start at 40 euros per liter. I would have been fine paying 10euros per liter for a "house wine" that you buy at the grocery store for 3euros per liter. So instead of you making 7euros per night extra on us, we just bought 3euro wine and had it in our room after dinner. 4) There is no kettle in the room. In cold weather people like to have some tea during the late hours of the night, and I assume this is in a move to get people to pay for hot drinks. Which would even work, if it was available 24/7. I brought a travel kettle and did it anyway. 5) The Towels feel old and rough, as if they have not been replaced in a while. This holds true to all the towels including those at the spa, yet somehow our robes were super soft, so I am assuming this is not a laundry issue but rather simply very old towels. 6) The coffee machine in the morning has sub-par coffee, in order to get you to pay extra for an espresso. Yet another move to squeeze the guests for more money. A Bean to cup machine is not expensive to own or maintain, and I have seen it in many other hotels. 7) lack of solutions to hang your ski clothes to dry in the room. The majority of the staff (with one notable exception) were super nice and helpful and made me feel super welcome. The one notable exception though... made me feel less welcome. Look, this hotel has the potential to be perfect, here is how: 1) stop nickel and diming the guests. Make it buffet every morning and every evening, with included options that are enough (cheap house wine, water, etc) 2) get new towels for the spa. 3) drop table service entirely and cut wait staff, have one bartender who pours the really expensive drinks to cover edge cases. 4) get a proper bean to cup coffee machine for mornings, its 350euros on amazon.de 5) put a kettle in the room. nobody is going to pay 5euros for a cup of tea anyway. 6) get a cheap foldable hanger in the bathroom, it costs 15euros on amazon.de You might say we are nitpicking, but note I gave this hotel 4/5 if they would have done all I wrote, they would have been a 5/5 The differences between good and great are in the details. But I have faith that hotel management might read this and make the necessary changes.

We had an amazing time over Christmas. We booked with Inghams ,quite late, and were delighted with the hotel. The kids had already stayed twice there and they liked it. The location is perfect, near the gondola, near the kids ski school ( very good one) and near the renting of all your equipment inclusive of wooden sledges. Normally it is half board, but if one came bed and breakfast , there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, inclusive of a well stocked supermarket. The food was very good. Breakfast had fresh fruit salad and hot choices plus the usual different types of bread and jams. Different choices of tea and coffee. Supper was excellent, one night buffet and one night waiter served food. You had to choose at breakfast. Our waiter Vlad was really nice, very accommodating and helpful. An asset to the hotel. The chef was very good, as well. The afternoon soup and cake was much appreciated after coming from the slopes. The pool was heated and an excellent asset to the hotel, particularly if you come with children. The rooms have bath robes and slippers. No kettle, so you can bring your own. There is only soap in the bathroom , shower gel dispenser not the best. Our room was a double standard room ( the only one available) , but it would be better to upgrade to a superior room. We found the bathroom very small. Still the shower was very good and we survived the week perfectly well. It was great to have Christmas there, in a very relaxed atmosphere without worrying about shopping or cooking at home. We will certainly be back. St Anton has great skiing for all ages and it is a beautiful place.

Excellent stay. Quiet hotel at the far end of St Anton, so probably not for you if you want to party hard. The hotel is 2 minutes walk from the Nassereiner lift up the mountain, for superb skiing. Rooms are clean, very comfortable, although a little too warm for us,and no way to control the temperature other than opening the windows. The food all week was superb - we had 4 courses every night, and all delicious. Buffets 3 x in the week were exceptional, with huge choice. My only complaint, and this is no doubt because I am English, is there is no complimentary tea with the cake/afternoon snack on returning to the hotel after a hard day's skiing, which is when I REALLY wanted a cup of tea. This wouldn't take much to provide. An excellent stay thank you

What a great place. The staff, rooms, food, was wonderful. Would go back again tomorrow. Breakfast, FANTASTIC!, we all looked forward to afternoon snack, dinner was again, a wonderful experience. Anytime I have to charge my room for extras, I'm a little concerned. What a great deal here. Close to lifts, busses, restaurant's, stores, grocery store, everything. Warm boots in the morning was a great plus! Vladimir was the BEST!!

Lovely hotel with friendly very friendly staff. Excellent location near ski lifts and nursery slopes. We rented a superior double which was fantastic, very comfortable and real quality. (#502). Also rented a family room for my 3 teenagers - fine for them but a bit tired. (#111) Very good swimming pool and steam rooms which were very modern and styled well. Food was plentiful at both breakfast and dinner. Tea or coffee making facilities in room would have been an improvement. Ski storage excellent Cant fault staff at all - really friendly and helpful.

This is our second time staying at the hotel . We initially booked four rooms but one had to be cancelled. The hotel was reasonable about it. The Spa is modern and clean. The food and service, especially from Renata was superb. The hotel is about 50M from the ski lift. So good location. I would recommend half board stay as the evening meal is pretty decent.
