A magical experience to stay at Rankeisou. The mountain surrounding n a flowing river besides a hundred year old ryokan is indeed special especially when everything was covered in snow during our visit. Dinner was exquisite n breakfast was fabulous. The experience was made even more special by Yukari san who took the trouble to explain to us the significance of the Japanese cuisines n the historical background of the place. We are indeed mesmerized.

It really exceeded expectations, the snow scene was super beautiful, and the hot spring was beautiful. The stream room is particularly beautiful and the hotel is very clean.

這個酒店距離新潟的燕三條車站還需要半小時車程。酒店有免費車接但必須提前2天預約。酒店是1933年成立。周邊環境四季都超級美。窗前是緩緩的河流，直接引入房間喝的山泉水非常甜美。安靜的喝杯手沖咖啡，閲讀三島由紀夫的《金閣寺》，餐也很豐富。這個酒店中國人很少，來度假的基本都是日本人。

川が見えるお部屋でした。窓が大きく風景が一枚の絵のようです。
お食事も中庭が見える個室でちらちらと雪も降り最高でした。日本酒もどれも美味しかった。グラスの白ワインも思いの外おいしかったので、なにを飲もうか悩みました。
雪の露天風呂ではぬるめのお湯にずっと浸かっていられました。
また是非行きたいです。

Rankeso 越後長野温泉 日本で自然に親しみたいのならここがベストな場所と思います。 川にせせらぎが聞こえてくる。建物の周りはいろいろな山野草が植えられていて、可愛い花を咲かせていました。 風呂は深湯（立ち湯）に入りましたが、内風呂はやや暑く、外風呂はやや温度が低く、立って入れる露天風呂でした。深湯には手すりはあるが、内風呂には手すりはありませんでした。また深湯の底に石があり風呂の中は気をつけて歩かないといけなかった。貸切露天風呂は22時から10時まで空いていれば、露天風呂に入るところに鍵があるため鍵を開けて入り、閉めるシステム。翌日朝予約なしで石湯に行ったが、静かでカジカカエルの声が聞こえて良かった。 4～6月中旬ぐらいまで食べれる山菜料理はとても美味しかった。ここでしか、新鮮な山菜は食べれないと思う。 交通：行きはシャトルバスが1日一本しかなく、タクシーで行きましたが、帰りは嵐渓荘のシャトルバスで東三条駅へ午前10 時に出発するのでこれで帰った。（約30分で東三条に着いた） 着いた時にフロントに翌日の朝食の時間変更したが、翌日電話が無いので、食事の場所に行ってフロンに翌日の朝食の時間変更したが、翌日電話が無いので、食事の場所に行ってみると変更前の時間で、計画されていた。また、その時の食事の場所の職員の対応もイマイチであり、とても残念でした。川に沿って歩きましたが、途中で行けなくなっていました。できればもうちょっと行ければ良いと思います。 朝ヨガなどがあるようですが、温泉だけでなく、山菜・野鳥をみて歩くツアー（山菜の種類・野鳥の名前などを教えてもらえるツアー）があれば、なお良いと思う。
