The room is very clean. I like the decoration style of the lobby and restaurant. European style is exquisite and elegant. Parking is very convenient. There are restaurants and gas stations around. The overall stay experience is great!

The service was pretty good overall. When I checked in, didn’t know I would be in a connecting room. They should let you know that. I stayed for 2 nights. After the 1st night I noticed I was double charged, contacted front desk and he admitted that I should not have been charged twice. Once I checked out I made sure once again and I was told by the same gentleman that I would not be charged, all the extra that was taken from my card would go back. He said give it a few days and if not come back up there….

The only problem I had was the pool was not open otherwise the staff was great and the the bar was clean and very welcoming and the chef with the baseball hat on was the best! He made our food and brought it out to us and it was delicious ! I will definitely be coming back!

The staff has been amazing! Super friendly, inviting and accommodating. There is a shining star amongst them and that is Ms Kim. She is phenominal! So fun, so welcoming!! She is a ray of sunshine at the end of the day. Sonesta keep doing you!!!

I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Every staff member that I met/ ran into was very welcoming and friendly. The bartender Ms Kim was such a friendly and warm person who made me feel special. She greeted me and talked to me like I was her daughter, making me feel warm and included, and made the best drinks that would make me want to keep coming back, especially when combined with the food prepared by Chef Mike. Chef Mike was friendly and made the best food, especially with him being so attentive to dietary needs.

Ugh, where do I even begin with this dump they call the Sonesta Atlanta Northwest Marietta - The Battery? "Dirty" doesn't even begin to cover it. It felt like they hadn't seen a cleaning crew in months. Dust bunnies the size of small animals lurked in every corner of the room, and don't even get me started on the state of the bathroom. Let's just say I wore flip-flops in the shower – and I never wear flip-flops in the shower. Then there were the elevators. Plural. As in, neither of them seemed to be consistently working. Lugging my suitcase up several flights of stairs after a long day of travel was just fantastic. Really added to the "relaxing" hotel experience. But the absolute worst part of this horror show was the pool. Disgusting doesn't even begin to describe it. It was a murky, green swamp. Actual algae was floating on the surface! I wouldn't have dipped a toe in that biohazard if you paid me. It looked like something you'd find abandoned in a swamp, not at a supposed "hotel." Honestly, save your money and your sanity. Stay anywhere else. This place is a health hazard and a complete letdown. I wouldn't recommend the Sonesta Atlanta Northwest Marietta - The Battery to my worst enemy. Zero stars if I could.
