And yet another wonderful experience at sandy neck motel. The cape is a beautiful destination in the off-season for walking, hiking, photo opportunities as well as shopping and dining. Motel is conveniently located and offers a chance to relax yet still be close to every stop you might want to make. I stay here several times each year and the rooms are exceptionally clean and comfortable. The grounds are always manicured and it's enjoyable just sitting outside and nature watching. After a recent snowfall the area was immediately cleaned up and treated to prevent icing during the subsequent colder than normal days. Always easy to get in touch with the office for questions or issues . Calls answered or returned promptly. A pleasure to stay here

Easy check in. The room smelled musty when we first got there but we opened the windows and it was fine.

for sure won't stay again
the remote for room temperature was impossible to figure out. (Hence we froze) the toilet was sized for use by a child (much too low for an adult). shower so small that you could not turn around in it and the handle would not stay on. no telephone in room at all. there weren't any comfortable chairs in the room just to sit on to plan your day. door had code entry that we had to scramble to get because it was not provided to us ahead of time. the adjoining room had merely a slide bar, no lock (very concerning since we did not rent that room as well. room not comfortable for average sized adults .tv reception was very bad, channels pixelating incessantly. no coffee in room. attic access just above the bed? (also a safety concern) room looks like it was decorated by the christmas tree shop .INNKEEPER WAS NO WHERE TO BE FOUNDl

Calling the health department
We didnt stay.No one was available to check us in.I asked a man drinking in the parking lot if he could contact the owner.He said he knew him personally he called him and owner Ryan gave him are door code to give to us!!! So we can say there was zero security.
We at that point had decided to find other accommodations.I did however inspect the room,it was in no way shape or form the one on website....within 1 minute the room came alive.I had a close look above the rear window curtains and there were half dozen bedbugs,clinging to the wall waiting for there next meal.

Gepflegtes Motel
Das Motel ist liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Das Bad ist recht klein, eine Renovierung könnte nicht schaden. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist für Cape Cod angemessen.
Die beiden Gastgeberinnen sind äußerst hilfsbereit und stehen gerne mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Danke, Tracy und Carol, für die schöne Zeit.
Ab dem 15. Juli werden die Besitzer wechseln.
