Absolutely awful. If I could give a zero star, I would. I NEVER leave reviews, but I want to help someone avoid a bad experience. I wanted a quiet room, so when I booked, the person in reservations suggested an upgraded room. The room was in an annex behind the Inn that looked like a motel. It was very dated (as is the entire hotel), the bed and linens are like what you would get at a motel, and no wifi service. When I called the front desk to inquire about the wifi access, they said the rooms in the back don't get service because they were too far from the main Inn. That was the least of my issues. When I checked out, I told the desk person about my experience. She recommended I call the next day because there wasn't a Manager on duty. I called back the next day and spoke with the same person who now informed me that Manager wouldn't be back until after the weekend. It was the 4th of July, so it was odd that there wasn't a manager on duty for a long holiday weekend, so I called and opted for the administrative offices. I was put through to the Manager on duty, Christy. I told her about my experience and how the front desk person lied to me and told me there wasn't a Manager on duty and was also rude and abrasive. Christy said she would get back to me. She never did. I have since left two messages with no response. I go to the Cape at least 5-6 times a season and stay at various places. This is by far the WORST experience I have ever had. The place is bad enough, but the management and staff are even worse. I recommend that anyone looking to stay in Sandwich avoid the Daniel Webster and opt for the Belfy, which is around the corner from the Inn. The place is much nicer, and the management is very accommodating. Run, don't walk!
