We stopped here for lunch. Was welcomed by a great guy called Sean. The food was amazing, the roast beef melted in the mouth. Really impressed they could even cater for gluten-free. Highly recommend. Many thanks. Will definitely return. A*****

The hotel cancelled our booking hours before we were due to leave The person on the phone was very rude and abrupt he didn't care our trip had been ruined They even tried to fob us off to a hotel that isn't suitable at all There was a lack of customer service

This was a Shepherd Neame lazy Sunday deal. Dinner, breakfast, and stay. I booked it for my husbands birthday. We had a choice of lunch or evening meal. We chose lunch as we wanted a stroll around after. The food was gorgeous and extremely generous. We booked with Brendan who was exceptionally helpful. He gave us info on the parking and options on the meal deal, lunch or dinner. We arrived with Brendan welcoming us with a personal greeting. Hello Mr Wells and happy Birthday. . Our table was reserved and we where welcomed to the Bell.

We were there for a Wedding. We specified we did not want a ground floor room…. We got a ground floor room, approach to room was filthy, white paint wood on doors thick filth! Photos will give an impression of the room. Worst accommodation we have experienced in our great years!

Huge thanks to all the staff at The Bell Hotel. We won an online competition last week and were treated to a fabulous lunch of two sharing platters and bottle of rose wine. We ordered extra chips and loaded fries. Everything was delicious, service was fantastic with a special thanks to Katie for organising a glass of bubbles and chocolate brownie for my friend as it was her birthday. Would highly recommend. We have also booked our wedding here next year and cannot wait 🫶🏼❤️ We will be back for sure! Thanks again

I have stayed here for many years and the gradual deterioration of this hotel is so disappointing. Sticky tables, torn furniture, terrible attitude of the manager on duty, warm and tired rooms with poor ventilation. Food was ok, but did not make up for the overall poor hotel.

Very nice hotel went for 2 nights. Plus points, food lovely, service great and lots of areas to sit and relax in nice bar, reception and restaurant. Reception staff great and got me a fan when I rang in advance and asked. Not as good points room up a lot of stairs and lots of bags no help offered.

Its always difficult when there is no car park to decide whether to stay. The car park around the corner is very close and you get it at a reduced rate through the hotel. The location is great, lots of nice walks nearby, and some pretty houses to look at. Loved everything about this place, from room to food, but I have to say I have never come across a hotel where you can hear every word from the room next door. Maybe its just our bad luck to be in a room next to a person who was hard of hearing and was shouting on the phone, but I do wonder if the staff realise how thin some of the walls are. Staff by the way were lovely, especially the staff in the restaurant.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for one night and enjoyed our stay immensely, from the check in staff to bar staff wonderful, the breakfast is the best I have had anywhere with plenty of freshly made croissant to a freshly cooked full English you will not be disappointed a wonderful stay in a wonderful location well done all
