The hotel was clean and the waterpark was nice, but I'm not sure we'll come here again due to the restricted waterpark schedule. First, there was a 50 minute wait in a long line to check in. All they needed was ID and credit card - unclear why they took a very long time for all guests including checking in our family but they seemed to work in extremely slow motion with getting the room assigned and tickets for the water park. About the waterpark: big surprise is the waterpark closes at 8 PM (I don't think this is on their website). Check in starts at 4 PM... we arrived at around 5 PM so after the massive wait to check in, so we had just under 2 h of waterpark on the first day. Very discouraging! A standard hotel with a pool and hot tub would have better hours than this! We stayed only one day so with breakfast and morning checkout at 11 AM, there was again not much time for the waterpark. FYI you can stay later at the waterpark after check out and you can apparently go to the waterpark earlier on the day of check in, but this wasn't really convenient for travelers like us. For the actual waterpark experience, I don't know if it was lifeguard staffing issues but they basically kept the small child play areas open, and kept several other rides closed. There were indoor waterslides that were closed both days we were there that we never got to experience. There were two other areas that would oscillate being open: the raft ride and then another set of waterslides that run out of the building for part of the time that is totally dark until you fall into a pool about 4' deep that is supervised by a lifeguard. With only one of these more exciting rides open at any time, there was a wait every time to go down (for us usually about 20 minutes or so) which was quite a pain. There were two small child waterslides that were always open - not sure if it was from one of these or from the bigger waterslides but the joints between the plastic slide modules weren't always aligned well and will leave a sore area over your sacrum if you are bony! There is a hot tub that is huge but doesn't have very hot water - but still nice to warm up from the rest of the waterpark. The breakfast was nice - we went with the breakfast package which I think saved some money. Very strange super-hard and sweet waffles. No microwave or coffee maker in our room but we had a fridge. Our room was beside the boiler room and there was a lot of noise from it overnight that kept us up - only in the morning did we realize why. Also I'd suggest getting a room away from the elevators as other guests could be very loud while waiting for the elevator.
