Decided to stay a night. On arrival, we got our waterpark bands and were told we'd be texted when the room was ready. The waterpark was not crowded which was refreshing. Once again, the tree house slides were out of commission except the smallest one. Everything else was working. We had a lot of fun. Waterpark staff were all courteous and competent. Around 1pm, we got the text that the room was ready. The room was very nice and clean. The only complaint is that noise from the hallway is very loud. It was nice going to Quaker Steak for a meal being that it was attached to the resort. We almost went to Halloweekend at Cedar Point but the traffic going to the causeway wasn't moving, so we bagged it.

The hotel was clean and the waterpark was nice, but I'm not sure we'll come here again due to the restricted waterpark schedule. First, there was a 50 minute wait in a long line to check in. All they needed was ID and credit card - unclear why they took a very long time for all guests including checking in our family but they seemed to work in extremely slow motion with getting the room assigned and tickets for the water park. About the waterpark: big surprise is the waterpark closes at 8 PM (I don't think this is on their website). Check in starts at 4 PM... we arrived at around 5 PM so after the massive wait to check in, so we had just under 2 h of waterpark on the first day. Very discouraging! A standard hotel with a pool and hot tub would have better hours than this! We stayed only one day so with breakfast and morning checkout at 11 AM, there was again not much time for the waterpark. FYI you can stay later at the waterpark after check out and you can apparently go to the waterpark earlier on the day of check in, but this wasn't really convenient for travelers like us. For the actual waterpark experience, I don't know if it was lifeguard staffing issues but they basically kept the small child play areas open, and kept several other rides closed. There were indoor waterslides that were closed both days we were there that we never got to experience. There were two other areas that would oscillate being open: the raft ride and then another set of waterslides that run out of the building for part of the time that is totally dark until you fall into a pool about 4' deep that is supervised by a lifeguard. With only one of these more exciting rides open at any time, there was a wait every time to go down (for us usually about 20 minutes or so) which was quite a pain. There were two small child waterslides that were always open - not sure if it was from one of these or from the bigger waterslides but the joints between the plastic slide modules weren't always aligned well and will leave a sore area over your sacrum if you are bony! There is a hot tub that is huge but doesn't have very hot water - but still nice to warm up from the rest of the waterpark. The breakfast was nice - we went with the breakfast package which I think saved some money. Very strange super-hard and sweet waffles. No microwave or coffee maker in our room but we had a fridge. Our room was beside the boiler room and there was a lot of noise from it overnight that kept us up - only in the morning did we realize why. Also I'd suggest getting a room away from the elevators as other guests could be very loud while waiting for the elevator.

our stay was fun up until myself and my 3 kids and husband were eaten up by BEDBUGS. we called the front desk and rose came viewed the bugs and reassured up that she'd take care of us. we were offered trash bags and to wash our clothes. she said since she seen the evidence she would process our refund. Once the morning came and after checkout time the supervisor called us and said since there's no evidence they can't refund us. I quickly ran to the front desk confused on how there was no evidence when it was all shown last night to be insulted and for them to act as if they don't know what I was talking about. i asked for the cameras to be rolled since they all of a sudden had no idea what I was talking about and I was asked to leave. there was no professionalism no compassion or anything! we've spent great money there multiple times and this was a first. we will not be returning. I was sure to tell everyone as I was in the lobby that they had bedbugs and to be aware as we were told to leave.

Overall it was a nice experience. Although I've never started at a hotel room that wasn't carpeted and didn't offer a coffee machine in the room. Amenities like castaway club, the guest laundry and the fitness area were hard to find and we did not know that they existed until exploring the upper levels of the hotel right before checkout. Everything else was good though.

Overpriced for what was provided. First night of stay, air conditioner was very noisy and made it difficult to sleep. Found out the following day that the filters in the air conditioner were completely clogged. After maintenance cleaned them, the air conditioner was much quieter. There was no coffee provided in our room! We were forced to go to the lobby and purchase coffee from an overpriced Starbucks if we wanted any!! Our room was booked for 6 adults and when we arrived, our room only had 4 sets of towels and 2 sets of shampoo, conditioner, etc. Waterpark was nice and fun though and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

BEDBUG ALERT!!!!!! Search your room before staying here. I stayed with my family and neighbors in joining rooms on 7/16. We checked in after a long day at the park. Once we were in our rooms we checked for bedbugs as always and did not find anything. The room however was not clean. There were fingerprints all over the doors, floor was dirty and there was hair on the floor in the bathroom. The room also felt damp. Around 8pm we saw a bedbug crawling on the pillow. We captured it in the bag and showed management. They didn’t act professional or assist in getting our things out of the room. They barely spoke. We did get a refund, but it was not an easy process. The kids were exhausted and we had a two hour ride home because we refused another room. Upon looking online we found recent reviews of close hotels/motels with similar bedbug issues. Not worth it to stay here because we have been spending the entire next day cleaning our luggage and belongings for bedbugs! Not worth it to stay here!!!

Had a great time with 15 family members. Only draw back was no coffee in rooms. Rooms were clean and staff very helpful. Kids had a great time in the waterpark and arcade. Reservation was very easy with pay plan available. Did have a glitch where they took 3 payments in one month. They corrected it and was told they weren't going to charge for that months installment but upon checking in I was told I still owed 1 payment. When I explained what reservations said about not charging that months payment the on site manager said I had to pay it. I called reservations back and was told if I had already checked in they could not do anything it.

This is a very fun hotel for kids. My sons ages are 7, 10, & 13 and they all enjoyed the water park after a long hot June day at Cedar Point. We wished it stayed open a bit longer than 8pm though. The arcade was fun and we played the 9 hole glow in the dark mini golf twice. My kids were a little old for the organized activities but we witnessed some and I think it would be fun for youngers. The GOOD: So close to Cedar Point. We packaged the room with tickets and got early entry and drink passes included. The water coaster and wave pool were big hits! Family sized rooms for 5 or 6 are hard to find, so glad that is an option here. The BAD: Sheets had a big coffee stain on arrival. Sink in bathroom needs counter space. Having to store our shower bags and toiletries on the floor was gross! I still think it was a fun hotel and great place for our three days at CP!

We drove 700 miles in an electric vehicle and had no problems finding chargers along the way. When we reached the hotel, there were no chargers or places to plug in. This made the trip home kind of a nightmare. We spent hours and drove for miles looking around and thankfully found one just within our reach. This is a severe limiting factor to us returning to the area. When we set up our reservation months ago the website made it unclear if breakfast was included, so I called the desk to be sure. They told me that breakfast was ensured and there was nothing to worry about, but, of course, we woke up in the morning ready to eat and were told that we would have to pay yet another extra fee. The one nice thing was the indoor-waterpark. That was fun. The room was nice and provided a spacious, comfortable place to stay.
