Great pools, even better cocktails! The children (and adults) will not be bored! Clean facilities, friendly staff and a great location. Great value for money.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Customer Service and a Thoughtful Team After initially leaving a mid level review, I felt compelled to change it to 5 stars due to the incredibly thoughtful and professional response I received from the team at BIG4 Sandstone Point. Shortly after my stay, I was contacted with a detailed and genuine message from the team that addressed every piece of feedback I provided — from small maintenance issues to broader guest experience suggestions. Not only did they acknowledge each point, but they also outlined specific actions they had already taken or planned for the near future. They have clear plans to improve various areas around the resort. While changes won’t happen overnight, it’s evident these improvements will make future stays even more enjoyable. The staff genuinely care about your experience. If you have any little issues during your stay, I strongly recommend calling the Duty Manager — chances are, it will be sorted immediately. And for any genuine concerns, the General Manager will personally step in to address them. It’s rare to see this kind of proactive follow-up and transparency. I’m genuinely impressed and look forward to returning. Highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting the area.

Honest Review Due to the limited words that Google Review allows, I had to cut this post down significantly. This review isn’t to give BIG4 SPHR a bad rap but to provide honest feedback based on my stay. I understand no park is perfect, and every family has different needs. My intention is to highlight both the positives and areas where small improvements could really enhance the experience. We all pay good money to stay here and naturally expect a certain level of quality, safety, and service. Occasionally, a fresh perspective is necessary to identify the minor details that often go unnoticed. Hopefully this blog helps other families make informed choices and offers constructive suggestions to the park. Positives: The park boasts a spacious pool and slide, making it ideal for older children. There is a simple check-in process and overflow parking available. The facility provides daily text reminders for activities and a helpful welcome pack. Guest visitors are allowed and well managed. Foxtel and casting worked well on the lounge TV, and both bedrooms had TVs. Wi-Fi was reliable throughout the park. Areas for Improvement: The $16 flat fee for mini golf felt excessive. Most parks refund a deposit when gear is returned. Slippery Pool Tiles: Very slippery when wet—a safety concern, especially for kids. Anti-slip surfacing would help. Privacy in Villa 6: bedroom window faced the pool with no privacy. Frosted glass or a privacy screen would fix this. Not Toddler-Friendly: The layout suited older children. Playrooms are small for the amount of children that visit this park. Road Safety: Kids on bikes + tight roads = risk. One-way signage for all traffic could ease congestion and improve safety, especially during check-in and check-out times. Boom Gate Access: Wristband scanning is awkward for drivers. A card option would be more user-friendly. Air-Con Filters: Ours were dusty and needed cleaning. Regular maintenance is essential. Food Collection: My pizza sat on the counter with no buzzer alert. Staff should double-check whether devices are working. The outdoor chess set is missing pieces and needs to be complete by Sunday. Guests need to return equipment. Pool Behaviour: Kids do flips despite signage. Staff presence would help, but parents must take responsibility. Cabin Blinds: Not blackout. Afternoon light made it hard to relax on the lounge. Blackout curtains would help. No Clotheslines: Extra towel rails or drying racks would make a big difference. Basic Supplies: Only 2 bin liners in 4 days. Bring your own essentials for extended stays. Or ask staff for more Cleanliness: Public BBQs and pool bathrooms could use more frequent attention. Cleaners are doing their best but are likely under-resourced. Accessibility: Uneven surfaces, no cabin ramps. A removable ramp or better signage would improve inclusiveness. Also, noise from poolside areas carries into the evening—be aware if you have young kids. Curfew is at 10pm. Pool

Stayed here with my family of 4 for 6 nights in the middle of winter. We had a fantastic time. Facilities are excellent, the villa was great and we loved the heated pools!

This place is like no other I have been too. Full resort style, with amazing facilities. Heated pools and spa. Amazing spaces and set up. All while your able to camp or bring your caravan.
