We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It's very centrally located. Staff is friendly and rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast and dinner were good too.

THE BEST: Incredibly helpful and kind receptionist! Quiet area, and a short walk to the harbour. Nice room (superior-room) and hotel, in spite of all the museumlike items from whalehunting. Interesting to see the history, but felt sad about all the whales. Lovely breakfast! POTENTIAL FOR IMPROVEMENT: 1) Lack of aircondition! The temperature were about 30 C outdoor during our stay, and even hotter inside. Felt sorry for all the employees. Difficult to sleep. We were 3 people in the room (me and my two 17 year old sons). The receptionist gave as 3 fans so we were able to "survive" :-) 2) Dinner was included in the stay, but was not eatable :-( Norwegian "hamburgers" (karbonader) you could use as a bouncy ball, potatoes that was uncooked, industrial sauce from a bag and the bread was so old we could barely bite it. 3) Using more organic/eco food. As far as we could tell, the eggs at breakfast was the only ecofriendly food. 5) The glasses in the bathroom were put at two small napkins on the washbasin. This is common everywhere, but I wish you would do it differently. Are you aware that if the toilet is flushed with the toilet lid open - the bacterias goes all over the room? So unless you disinfect the bathroom, the gut-bacterias from the users/previous guests of the toilet will be all over the walls, floor, shower, towels and washbasin. Please leave the glasses outside the bathroom 😊

Stayed for one night to explore Sandefjord. The hotel is dated, and could use an update of the rooms. Dinner and breakfast was included, but I would rather have gone somewhere else. Poor quality prefabricated and tasteless. I doubt we will ever return.
