Kristallhotel Corona-Krone

Great location in the center of a lovely mountain village, situated close to the ski lift and bus stop, this hotel serves amazing food, with friendly and professional service from all the team, but a special mention for Giuseppe who runs the bar. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable and the spa is a welcome extra after a day on the slopes… we are hoping to return next season.

We stayed for a week at the Hotel Corona from the 8th- 15th February. We chose this hotel after reading the excellent reviews, and we weren’t disappointed. Our stay at Corona Hotel helped to make our holiday memorable and special. It is a friendly family run hotel that strives to make guests feel welcome.Robert, Rosemary, Catrina, Fiona and Guiseppe were fantastic hosts. A special thankyou to Robert and Guiseppe for being encouraging, and helpful when I was trying out my limited Italian with them. Fiona was extremely helpful with using the local buses, and even printed out our journey for us. Guiseppe who ran the bar area, was there at afternoon tea and served us in the restaurant. He served me a special Corona Aperol spritzer, which is to be recommended if you stay. He was also very welcoming, and it was obvious how happy he was to work at the hotel. We stayed with our son in a superior room at the back of the hotel. It looked out on to three pistes, and we enjoyed watching skiers descending the slopes, when we were in our room. The room was very comfortable, and I liked being able to choose whether we wished to have our room cleaned and towels changed. It is much more environmentally friendly. The meals in the hotel were fabulous, and the menu varied. We also enjoyed afternoon tea each day. The spa facilities in the hotel are very special. Despite breaking my wrist on our second morning, I covered my cast with a bag, and was able to enjoy the jacuzzi, sauna and the delightful relaxation room. We will definitely recommend Hotel Corona to friends, and would love to return for a future holiday.

We just had a fantastic week staying in hotel Corona in the charming village San Vigilio in the Dolomites. The room is very spacious and has a balcony with views of snowy mountains. Its only 3 minutes walk to the Gondola statipn Cianrosse which also has a ski hire shop just under station. The staff were very friensly and the food was lovely. The hotel is clean and has traditional deco throughout. They have a nice swimming pool and several sauna rooms which were wonderful to enjoy after a day of skiing. The hotel gas been run by the samw family for over 200 years. They have a family cat called potato who is so adorable.

Just got back from snowboarding here with dad and the family run hotel was absolutely great, big, comfortable and warm, extremely friendly/lovely and funny the owners and staff. The food & desert was absolutely brilliant and lots of courses also.. We felt the Italian bar man was like family to me and dad for a week, had so much of a laugh with him and sat at the bar talking a lot to him all week.. We would definitely go again..
