Wij verbleven hier via een Vlaamse reisorganisatie met onze familie. Het hotel was dik in orde. De kamers waren ruim, proper, met een mooie, grote badkamer en grote bergingruimte. Ideaal voor al onze skikleren. We vonden het ook leuk dat niet enkel de ouders een badjas kregen om gebruik te maken van de wellness, maar ook onze kinderen. Een klein minpuntje zijn de hoofdkussens, die waren niet helemaal top. Het ontbijt was meer dan voldoende, uitgebreid en lekker. Het avondeten was altijd iets anders, met voldoende keuzemogelijkheden. De bediening was vlot. Ideaal met kleine kinderen. Voor de kinderen was er ook elke avond een andere, aparte kindermenu. De bediening was steeds vriendelijk en zeker ook naar de kindjes toe. Er is een grote skiruimte, die je ook gemakkelijk kan bereiken van buitenuit. Het hotel ligt dichtbij de skilift van Pedaga en Cianross, maar net aan de deur stopt ook de skibus naar de lift van Miara. De wellness met verschillende sauna's was dik in orde, het zwembad ook. Misschien mocht het zwembadwater ietsje warmer zijn. Maar het was er steeds aangenaam vertoeven na een lange skidag.

We had a great time in the Corona hotel! Very friendly team in reception, comfortable rooms with stunning view, delicious food with so many options, the waiters super helpful. And a relaxing wellness centre, just perfect after a day on the slopes! And crystals everywhere, if you believe in the power of Cristals or not they create either way a bit of magic! Cannot raccomend this place enough! Would like to come back again!

We discovered the Corona in December 2022 and since then it has become our must-do for skiing holidays. Please note that in spite of owning a flat in a village nearby Cortina we decide to spend at least a couple of weeks at the Corona in San Vigilio di Marebbe. I can’t imagine of a more comfortable stay: we stayed in a large triple with two bathroom facilities and a large balcony with a view of the ski slopes. Towels are changed daily and the cleaning is truly impeccable. In the morning, breakfast is provided with a wide variety of sweet and salted food, fruit juices, teas and coffee. Upon request, you may be served even hot chocolate. After spending the whole day skiing, a snack is served at 5 pm with soup, sandwiches and home-made Strüdel. An always-different daily menu is proposed for dinner, with options for vegetarians. Exhilarating desserts are all homemade by Rosmary, the landlady of the hotel. I started this review with food because, especially when travelling with family, it’s one of the most important issues (my husband has plenty of food allergies but invariably found satisfactory options), nevertheless let me say a word also on the rest. The spa is a special place. Manuela and her colleagues are at disposal upon request for the most advanced treatments (my daughter aged 16 waits to go there to have her facials done). The pool, saunas, hamams and other facilities are an oasis of wellness. The fireplace close to the tea-room is in use every afternoon - my favourite place for my daily mindfulness retirement. Professionalism of the staff is granted by Robert’s careful attention (the landlord), whose spotless discretion is only won by the desire to let guests be aware of the beauties of the surrounding environment: a native of San Vigilio himself, he has a profound and heartfelt knowledge of the town’s history and of the hotel building itself. The Corona is located at the very center of the picturesque town of San Vigilio di Marebbe, one of the nicest spots of the Dolomites. This February, work appointments made it impossible to stay more than 5 days and… we kind of missed the full feeling of our usual “settimana bianca”. That’s why we have decided to spend at the Corona even Ferragosto! What more could I say?

I got the chance to eat here one night. The food was exquisite. It felt like eating in a Michelin star restaurants. Portions were the perfect size, 3 options for first and second course. The staff was lovely and very caring. I 100% recommend this place.

Siamo appena ritornati dopo una settimana trascorsa in questo hotel elegante Appena arrivati siamo stati accolti con un bel sorriso dai proprietari. Ci hanno messo subito a nostro agio. La camera ben arredata, il bagno ampio, sono sempre stati puliti alla perfezione dando attenzione al cambio di biancheria giornalmente. Ottima cucina gourmet, colazione dolce e salata abbondante e ottima anche la merenda dolce e salata. Il tutto servito da personale attento e sempre sorridente. Il signor Robert e la sig,ra Rosmary ci hanno dato tante informazioni sul territorio in modo da riuscire a visitare più luoghi possibili. Interessanti anche le gite organizzate dalla vulcanica Anna. La SPA superlativa. Ci siamo sentiti coccolati e seguiti durante tutta la settimana, grazie a tutto il personale questa settimana rimarrà indimenticabile Giusy e Giuseppe

Abbiamo trascorso una vacanza piacevole. L albergo va anche bene, se non fosse per i proprietari che ,pur educatissimi, non danno al cliente quella sensazione di accoglienza nella loro struttura. Potrebbero essere scambiati per semplici dipendenti . Una nota dolente riguarda la proposta della cucina: i piatti non sono affatto buoni. Se si arriva a cena un quarto d ora dopo l ‘apertura della sala già si trovano quasi vuoti i piatti esposti per fare un’insalata. Fanno pagare l acqua del rubinetto 2.50 euro nella caraffa, vera caduta di stile. Avevamo con noi un piccolo cane. Il prezzo per tenerlo e’ stato di 25€ al giorno, quindi molto caro di per sé. A differenza di altri alberghi, non veniva offerta neanche una ciotolina ne’un tappetino su cui potesse stare in camera. Altra caduta di stile. In camera non c’è un bollitore . In albergo non viene curato nessun intrattenimento, e questo fa scopa con L freddezza dei proprietari. In compenso il servizio al tavolo è veloce, le camere sono pulite e la spa non è male, sebbene i primi due giorni l acqua della piscina fosse fredda. Non ci torneremo.

Mi permetto solo di suggerire due cambiamenti che ritengo fondamentali: lo chef di cucina e il pagamento della caraffa d'acqua a tavola. La colazione non è affatto male, forse variare l'offerta delle torte che sono, tutti i giorni, sempre le stesse. La cena invece, al di là della carne buona, è mediocre: risotto che sembra quello dell'ospedale, una "gricia" terribile, pesce surgelato insapore....un vero peccato, perché la cucina determina il successo di un hotel. Pessimo il far pagare € 2,50 la caraffa di acqua del rubinetto, tra l'altro senza avvisare dopo avere prospettato di ordinare le acque in bottiglia, ti "offrono" la caraffa di acqua, salvo trovarsi il giorno dopo lo scontrino al tavolo con il conto. Hotels di stelle inferiori portano l'acqua fresca a tavola senza nessun costo e con un bel sorriso! Un vero peccato perché l'hotel è molto bello, pulito e centrale, i proprietari gentili e disponibili per consigli. Fantastica la guida Anna che ci ha guidato su per i monti raccontandoci tutti i segreti delle montagne, torneremo!

Sono venuta come esterna in questo hotel stupendo per rilassarmi nella fantastica spa che hanno con tanti altri servizi stanze relax stupende cabine infrarossi e saune super moderne e pulitissime e la cascata di acqua meravigliosa mi sono concessa anche un massaggio dalle fantastiche mani d’oro della Paola che ormai è una garanzia anni fa avevo già fatto un massaggio da lei ed è stato indimenticabile bravissima anche la Manuela con la sua gentilezza e disponibilità grazie ancora a prestissimo
