An older hotel that was clean and reasonably well maintained. Nothing fancy, but we had a second floor room with a view of the ocean. Good value for the money. Restaurant served a good breakfast. Very close to Hurst Castle.

The front staff is friendly. The lodge is in a Good location, with clean rooms, but the carpet and bed are so old—replacement is needed.

A small lodge with the basics. Stand out was the mini mart and there is a restaurant on site. Comfortable and clean bed, clean rooms and bathroom. We had a first floor room and didn’t hear the sounds from the adjacent rooms and upper rooms. The cool breeze from the windows and sliding back door was nice. Our room was easy to access the pool. Pool was nice too. It’s definitely a place we will stay again when we are passing through again.

Beautiful and close to the ocean I’d highly recommend staying here for a family trip. The restaurant, pool, and lounge area are also really good.

It was fantastic, the people were awesome. The happy hour was great. Even though I had a courtyard room I still have a bit of a view of the beautiful grass and pool. And just a two minute walk to the beach. Fantastic thank you you guys were great.

We enjoyed our comfortable, pleasant room. Clean. Quiet. We could see the ocean from our window, but rather far away so we couldn't hear the surf or walk easily to the beach. It's across this large lawn area, across the road (hwy 1) and down another short street to the actual coast line. We were going to have breakfast on-site, but the prices are too high for a very ordinary menu, so we went into Cambria and had an amazing breakfast at The Spot. San Simeon Lodge would do well to offer more reasonably priced breakfasts so residents would be more likely to eat there.
