Villa Birdie has much going for it. Located on a quiet street and very close to town is provided the perfect place for 3 nights. I always looks for a small place, with parking when I need it, breakfast and charm. This had it all. Blanca, owner/host, is welcoming and energetic. She was patient with our questions. There is a bus stop nearby that is a two minute walk and the buses to town come by every 5 to 10 minutes, it seemed. Every inch of the villa has been remodeled. While not spacious it had everything we needed. Breakfast was good. We can really only say good things. I think it would be a good spot for staying longer and making it your base. Buses are easy with a map app. And, as it has a rare parking spot you drive to other locations.

Villa Birdie has to be one of the best places we've stayed. The hotel is stunning from the minute you arrive. Blanca (the host & owner) greets you with a beeming smile and treats you like like a celebrity. The location is perfect, a 20 minute walk into the centre of town, regular bus & train service near by. The rooms are modern, clean and well equipped. Literally cannot fault the place and Blanca and her team are a joy to have host you!

No llegaré a hospedarme. Una semana después de hacer la reserva con el hotel a través de Booking, me contactan del hotel a través de Booking para indicarme que han subido el precio de la reserva , de 191€ a 400€, no dándome más opciones que aceptarlo o cancelaban por su parte la reserva. Obviamente me parece lamentable el trato y un abuso por su parte, por lo que no he aceptado y han decidido cancelarla. Lamentable el servicio, genera una inseguridad enorme este tipo de actuaciones y obviamente que no me esperen jamás por sus instalaciones. Un absoluto ”cero” en cuanto a formalidad se refiere.

Wir sind weltweit gereist und kennen Hotels aller Kategorien . In den letzten Jahren, mehr und mehr Hotels einer gehobenen Kategorie. Stellen Sie sich bitte eine kapriziöse Gastgeberin vor, die ihre eigenen Vorstellungen von ihrem Aufenthalt hat. Abstellen von Gepäck vor dem Check-In: nur nach zeitraubenden, zähen (sehr unfreundlichen) „Verhandlungen“. Der Ton: schwierig. Und dann ein winzig kleines Zimmer mit einem Doppelbett anstelle der gebuchten zwei Betten. Aber das Allerbeste kommt noch. Die Dame des Hauses möchte zu guter Letzt die Zimmerkarten nicht aushändigen (weil die Atmosphäre nicht gut ist?!) und verweigert eine Stornierung. Da wir schon bezahlt haben, „betteln“ wir jetzt unserer Rückerstattung hinterher. Unfassbar? Aber so geschehen! Wahrscheinlich werden wir unser Geld erst über einen Anwalt zurück bekommen. Überlegen Sie genau, ob ihnen das „Boutique „ im Hotel so etwas wert ist. Noch dazu ist das Hotel abseits der Stadt und bedingt Taxifahrten, oder aber Gutes Schuhwerk. Das Interieur: interessant, aber fast zu intim (nur dann gut, wenn Alles harmoniert). Ich wünschte, ich hätte alle Abwertungen vorher gelesen!

Wat een heerlijke en rustgevende plek is dit! Blanca doet er alles aan om je verblijf perfect te maken en verzorgt elke ochtend een heerlijk gevarieerd ontbijt. Je zit iets buiten de drukte van de stad maar om de hoek is er bus die je elke 5 minuten naar de stad brengt, perfect dus!

Exquisitely presented hotel with all the trimmings. Blanca the owner is lovely, shes very attentive, if you spend the day around the pool she comes out offering free drinks which is a lovely touch. She offers her knowledge of the area and gives good advice on places to visit, restaurants, bus routes etc. Our room was a good size with a lovely ensuite shower room all cleaned daily, the rooms have a free mini bar and free coffee machine which are restocked daily. There is parking available but you do have to work with Blanca and the other guests as one car sits behind another, it really was no issue to me whatsoever to move briefly if required. Breakfast was superb and plentyful and you won't need to eat until the evening. All in all, a loveky place and we would certainly stay again if we were in the area.
