Hostel Hornocal

My reservation was for March 8th. I was traveling from the Bolivian border to Jujuy. It was raining heavily, so the bus was significantly delayed. I knew the reception desk would be open until 10 pm. However, I contacted the manager to let her know we would arrive at 12:00 am due to delays. This wasn't possible, and we were arriving at the bus station at almost 1:00 am. Just moments before, she canceled my reservation, telling me she couldn't wait for me, and I understood. But she wasn't clear about it and told me when I told her about the delay that it would be impossible for her to see me. At that moment: my first time in Argentina, traveling alone, at that time of the morning, in a city I didn't know... I had to start looking for accommodation at that hour. Fortunately, I found one, but I had to pay extra to be able to enter at that time of the morning. I think if they're hostels, they might have an automatic key delivery system with a code. I understand the schedule, but you can't leave someone traveling alone for the first time stranded in the middle of the night. So that's why I'm describing the experience as terrible.
