Laura, the reservations manager, was very friendly and hospitable. We were greeted with a welcome drink. Our room was beautiful with a stunning view. The property is spectacular. We loved having dinner at the restaurant—the food and service was incredible. We loved everything about our stay.

This property was excellent. I will forever have fond memories of staying here. Quiet town an hour from Florence great to get away from it all but still close to the touristy areas. Walking around the Castle and the grounds was a joy and the giant rooms were very very comfortable. The manager was a pleasure to deal with and had great restaurant recommendations. There was 6 of us and we each got our own rooms and were able to hangout together in the spacious rooms or the billiards room

Volevamo passare un week end in Toscana all’insegna del paesaggio e del buon cibo. La location è davvero bella e con potenzialità ancora più alte. Camere grandi e confortevoli. Personale simpatico, cordiale e professionale. La grande nota di demerito è solo data dal ristorante: veniamo accolti da un fantomatico chef arrogante saccente e maleducato, più volte abbiamo subito pensato di andarcene ma la sera con un bambino piccolo in mezzo al nulla abbiamo incassato e siamo andati avanti. Sbagliando. Arriva del cibo precotto immangiabile. Pasta scotta. Cotture sbagliate. Sapori sgradevoli. Da lasciare il cibo nel piatto. Il tutto a prezzi da ristorante stellato. Mi chiedo il perché la direzione consenta questo e vi dico che non è giusto. Siete riusciti a farci mangiare da schifo in Toscana regione che per antonomasia è pressoché impossibile.

What an amazing resort this was! Staying in a castle brings a whole new level of luxury to one’s travel. Rooms were spectacular, enormous, clean, extremely comfortable. Although off the beaten path, it was worth the hour drive to Florence to stay in the beautiful Tuscan countryside at this phenomenal palace. Highly recommend this adults only resort.

Location indubbiamente meravigliosa! Personale molto gentile e disponibile. La camera, invece, mi ha suscitato qualche dubbio: tante ragnatele, polvere e rubinetteria piena di calcare (con tanto di miscelatore del bidet rotto). Se, soggiorno in una suite, non basta avere il letto Lago, è necessario dare un’occhiata anche alla pulizia.
