Marin Lodge

Clean and reasonably priced. I would definitely stay here again. The layout is a motor lodge, where your room is right off the parking lot. The property is secluded from Lincoln Ave with big trees and feels very safe. You also feel safe and secluded in your room as each room window has small trees in front of them so people can't really see in to your room, even if you have the curtains open for natural light. Most of the parking spaces are decently wide, so no worries about someone parking too close to your car and door-dinging you, and you can park right outside your room to keep an eye on your car. The room is very clean and well appointed with both a mini fridge and a microwave. I used both as I got a dinner delivered to my room via UberEats and had some leftovers. It's very easy for food delivery drivers to drive right up to your room door. Note that there is some street noise here as this property is close to Highway 101, and also Lincoln Ave is fairly busy street. This is way less at night however and can hardly be heard with the room window closed. Pro tip- using the fan on the in-room air conditioner helps drown out any street noise. The bed is very comfortable and seems to be similar to a Tempurpedic mattress. I slept really well. The rooms seem well-insulated as I could not hear any neighbors at all. The staff here is very friendly and a free soda or water upon check-in, and the coffee and pastries in the morning in the lobby are certainly very welcomed. I will say that the internet access went down at about 10pm. The wi-fi still connected, but the actual access was down. Maybe they turn it off at night? A bit odd if so. All in all, they have done a great job with the Marin Lodge and I can recommend them highly. For reference, I am someone who used to work in the hotel and customer service field for Hyatt Regency.

I was going to a conference in the area and stayed at the Marin Lodge. It was in a good location, and the hotel itself was very nice. The gentleman at the front desk was welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. It had a very detailed binder that showed the various restaurants and activities in the area. It was a very pleasant hotel, and I would highly recommend it.

I will def be back here. Wonderful place, wonderful staff.

The room was peaceful and beautiful, including the workstation area. Service was outstanding! My stay was a wonderful "home away from home " experience!

We have stayed here many times! It is owned and run by a wonderful family. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Free parking. Nice breakfast. Great variety of restaurants nearby , a Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s! We discovered it when we got tired of the prices and craziness of staying in San Francisco! (Parking fee per night is ridiculous there, too) But we love the Bay Area and figured out how to beat the system! We stay here and then take the Larkspur Ferry, 10 minutes away, to San Francisco! Parking is $2 and RT Seniors is $14, Adults $28, and children $14. On your 35 minute ride you pass San Quentin, Alcatraz, Golden Gate Bridge, Sausalito, and a great view of San Francisco! I would give Marin Lodge 10 stars fi I could! M
