Las Terrazas Resort

The staff paid attention to detail, the resort is absolutely beautiful and our visit to Belize was so memorable!!!!!!!!!! We were picked up from the local airport by friendly resort staff and had a scenic boat ride where we saw a hammer shark chasing a string ray!!!!

For those reading reviews. Stay somewhere else. Anywhere else. We stayed for 3 nights. Had cold water for 3 days. No action to correct by management. We checked in with no water in the resort. Stayed in a backpacking style hotel on Caye Caulker that was better than this. I travel for a living. Premium status with major hotel chains. We have stayed at this property before. And been coming to Belize for 15 years. It has gone down hill and will not return. We checked in to the property with absolutely no water to the resort. Not able to flush or shower. When the water did come on we had no hot water. And did not have hot water for 3 days out of 4 We also had Multiple cockroaches! We called it in and maintenance would come in and “fix” it. But as soon as we turn on…. Cold. This went on for several days. No word from management to check on us. It wasn’t until the 3rd day that the front desk (who was actually very professional and apologizing in this process) said the manager offered to move us to another room. The last night. After we showered. It was the last night there. We were to leave at 7am the next day. You waited till the last second to do something. It was also through talking to the front seat that I found out it was a known problem that they were fully aware of. The circuit breaker would trip when the hot water was turned on. So they kept us in a room knowing there was an electrical fault. Horrible experience!!!!!

A lovely resort n location although it is quite a distance from town, this can either be a blessing or a problem depending on the style of vacation you desire. The staff was friendly and helpful with top notch service. I found the pool water to be of perfect temperature to be cool without being chilly n having a restroom near the pool saves having to run to the room dripping wet. Lastly, when I needed a late check out due to plane flight not until 4pm...they ddn't bat an eye or complain like so many other places...well done.

HORRIBLE staff and ZERO safety and security in a high risk area by State Dept. mgr is horrible and pictures are misleading online. Go to coco beach resort it is AMAZING!!!! Amazing staff and much nicer property with gated with guards!!!!!! SAFE

Ambergris Caye is one of my favorite places and Las Terrazas Resort is my favorite place to stay when I'm there. We were married at this resort last year and returned this year with family for our annual sister and significant other trip. We had an awesome time. The staff is amazing. Our rooms were great. The property is the perfect place to sit back and spend time together. We've stayed at other properties in Ambergris Caye however, this property is our favorite and the only place we'll stay when vacationing in Belize. Looking forward to returning next year!

The staff, pool and accommodation are lovely, but the beach is a real let down. The whole east side of the island the sea is full of sea grass so there is no lovely blue clear water, just a murky brown sea, which frankly is not what you've paid a lot of money for. Secret Beach on the West Coast is better but you have to drive a golf cart on dodgy dirt roads for half an hour to reach it. This resort is several miles north of the town and not much around so you'll need a golf cart for the duration. Island Cruiser golf carts are half the price of the resorts own carts and they will deliver and collect from the resort.

It was a great experience. The room was clean and if there was a need for anything, they would try there best to accommodate. The service and the staff was awesome. I have stayed here on multiple occasions and would highly recommend Las Terrazas to anyone.

World class resort, world, class, service, world, class, amenities, real class food. A great way to enjoy Belize with a sanctuary to escape the busyness of this developing tourist island. Great access to the beach, 20 steps away, great staff, especially Jasper, who was outstanding helping us to plan our time in the country.

From the moment we arrived at Las Terrazas, the entire staff was soo friendly and welcoming! The rooms are very nice, beds were very comfortable as well as the pillows! Our room was very clean and our beds were made daily- and if we napped, they were made when we got back from an outing! The restaurant was very good as well and the staff were super friendly- Nigel was fantastic!
