The minute you walk into the Phoenix you’re greeted by smiling faces and rum drinks! The staff is courteous and walks you to your room to make sure you’re aware of the island paradise that you’ve chosen. The facility is spotless. The rooms are perfect! Even rooms with multiple bedrooms are created in such a way that you feel like you have your own little paradise. You cannot have a better experience with better people than staying at the Phoenix. The location, staff, facility and dining are top notch! Everyone is kind and I can’t imagine a more clean place on the island. We would never stay anywhere else! It’s the absolute best!

The Phoenix was AMAZING!!!! We had our family of 6 stay in the 3 bed/3bath unit and it was perfect! The staff was wonderful, the food was even better! Can’t wait to go back!

This resort is beautiful and so well run. The service is impeccable and the staff does everything possible to make your stay amazing. We traveled with our three children, 10 and under, and all five of us had a blast. We highly recommend visiting and enjoying like we did!

The private location, yet centrally located was perfect. Every room has an ocean view. The staff was extremely hospitable. Red Ginger Restaurant was amazing. Will definitely return again!!! Thank you for the memorable stay!!!

This is our second visit to The Phoenix and we love it. Everything is taken care of for you. Tropic Air tickets to the island, ground transportation to the resort, they offered to give us free transportation for our luggage and groceries to our second hotel stop north of San Pedro. We had a showere issue and it was fixed in lass than a half hour from when I alerted the front desk. Everyone there is top notch. Did I mention the free happy hour every day or the free classes every day; chocolate, rum, wine, and painting classes. We will definitely be back.

The Phoenix Resort in San Pedro was spectacular. The communication before our arrival was seamless, with helpful details about Tropic Air transportation and amenities. The resort is perfectly located right on the water and within walking distance to the best restaurants like Palapa, shops and great boat cruises (Island Dream Tours). Our suite was spacious, clean, complete with a full kitchen, washer/dryer, and a private balcony with ocean views. We loved the two pools. The Red Ginger restaurant on-site served delicious meals throughout the day, even at the pool, and they have daily happy hour and yoga classes.

What an amazing place! And an amazing staff! My room (A9, I think) was absolutely incredible. Full, modern kitchen. Air conditioning. Washer/dryer. Wrap-around balcony. Top floor looking right over the water. Wow. I’m pretty sure the room was bigger than my actual house. Lol Great location. You could walk from the airport if you really wanted. But you don’t have to. Because The Phoenix arranges transportation for you. And every bar and restaurant you’d ever want to visit is just down the beach. Marisol at the front desk was super sweet and helpful. Great staff all around. I ordered beers and pizza to entertain some friends just before the restaurant was closing and they delivered everything with a smile. Such a great place. If you’re going to San Pedro, this is the place to stay. Oh, did I mention the beautiful pools?
