Odelan at the restaurant is the best! Every morning he was very detail oriented when assisting me and making sure I had all that I needed. The whole staff at this hotel is very hospitable and accommodating.

My daughter chose the Safi Metropolitan as the main hotel for her May wedding; I stayed there for a week. The hotel itself and location are beautiful but the problem was that the air conditioning in all rooms, at least the ones from the wedding guests were not working properly. We had record heat, at 103°F, that week. The electricity kept going on and off and at one point I was stranded at the lobby for over an hour waiting for the electricity to come back. I also got stuck for a few seconds in the elevator when the electricity kept going on and off in the hotel. That day we were having the makeup test and even the makeup artist was stuck in the room with my daughter. We were staying on floor 31 so it was impossible for me to go up all those flights of stairs. The day of the wedding the whole weeding party including myself and bridesmaid had to get ready in full heat because the air conditioning in the suites were not working. The pictures had to be taken with all of us sweating; it ruined the whole experience for us. You could not even have a good night’s rest because you would wake up sweating during the night. Everyone was very nice at the hotel with the exception of one person in the front desk that was rude to me and my daughter. Every time you called the front desk, they did not answer so you would end up having to go all the way down to the lobby and then you would see lines of people waiting to check in; their system to check in needs to improve. All the guests that arrived for the wedding had to wait for hours to get their rooms even after the check in time. I would not stay here unless you love heat. Beautiful hotel and location but not worth the inconvenience.

First off let me give KUDOS to Gregorio at the front desk. Polite, helpful and courteous. Although no other employees stood out, everyone was helpful and courteous. This would have been an EASY five star review for what is obviously a beautiful 5 STAR hotel, but there were small details that unfortunately are being overlooked. “Details make perfection, and perfection is not a detail.” There were no wash clothes in the bathroom and the bath towels and hand towels were worn and not of the same style or brand. The bath mat in the bathroom needed to be changed or at the very least trimmed from where the edges were falling apart. One of the biggest issues was the poor quality of toilet paper that was being used. Although the brand was Cottonelle by Professional, it was one-ply and was the texture of sandpaper. Not fun after 3 days. LOL Room 617 had beautiful views of the city, but was located close to the elevator and we could hear the random dings of the elevator.

I was very happy to get back to the hotel, but I was very happy to get back to the hotel. The hotel was very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable. The hotel gives you 1 tiny water bottle for coffee and 2 more tiny ones for drinking which is not enough for 2 people in hot weather. On the last day, we finally found a place nearby to buy water but there is no fridge in room to keep it cold. This is ridiculous. The internet worked on and off in the room which was frustrating too. On the positive side, the beds were comfortable. The terrace bar is a pleasant place to have a late afternoon drink. The location is good in that you can walk to some nice restaurants in metropolitan center. You can enter Fashion Drive mall directly from bottom floor.

Although the hotel is at a good price and very well located, it doesn't worth it, the customer care is very poor and the wish to give feedback you realize because during MES AND MEDIO (verifiable) search for the named Erika Aregullin Gonzalez, General Manager by email, personally, by phone and never had the attention to answer, call or answer me. We hosted last year and returned again, we found the same details last time. The person responsible for the hostel area could not give general information, there were no ice machines in each floor and more than once we asked for reception assistance and never answered the phones. The staff were very careful, as well as the roommates and special congratulations to a older gentleman who brought us to the room a cun for our baby, was very friendly and service.
