Hard Road Atacama

The hotel, despite being well-located (a 5-minute walk from the city's main street where all the shops, restaurants, and cafes are located), is a complete disappointment. The receptionist's friendliness and politeness are meaningless if everything else in the hotel is a problem. Room cleaning is essentially nonexistent, limited to taking out the trash and making the bed. We even had to request a change of towels (EVERY DAY), because even though we left them under the toilet, they never came. The shower stall is literally disgusting... there's no other way to describe a shower stall full of "moss" that builds up in the corners and comes loose while you're showering! The shower water sometimes has no pressure, sometimes burns you, sometimes freezes you. The shower head, which only has the upper one because the lower one is broken, and there are several broken pieces of porcelain on the bathroom wall and around the sink, posing a risk of falling and cutting yourself. The sink faucet is completely loose. As for the quality of the towels and bedding, I don't even know what to say. The spring mattress bothers you all night, as it should have been replaced years ago. And the air conditioning, which theoretically turns off at 10 p.m., but in practice, only works for a few hours during the day when you ask it to be turned on. Every time it's not working or stops working, the "excuse" is the same... that it's out of "oil"! It would be better to say the hotel doesn't have air conditioning! It also "has" a pool, which, besides looking terrible, doesn't even have chairs or towels for you to enjoy. Finally, breakfast! To sum it up... There's not a single piece of fruit! The only thing you can help yourself to is sliced bread and hot water for tea or instant coffee. Everything else (butter, jam, juice, eggs) is served portioned directly at the table. Hoping that the "administrator" Rodolfo was awake at dawn to solve the problem of LACK OF WATER AND POWER, which luckily for us HE WAS NOT. ONLY AFTER A FEW HOURS DID HE NOTICE, but it was already too late, in conclusion we had to go out on excursions for two days WITHOUT SHOWERING, because one day there was no electricity and the other there was water.

Estuvimos 3 días durante el mes de agosto. Somos una familia de tres parejas y reservamos tres habitaciones dobles. La sorpresa fue que al llegar nos adjudicaron una habitación correcta y las otras dos muy diferentes. Una situada en un sótano y la otra con una parte del tronco de un árbol dentro. En esta última, mis hijos encontraron una araña en la cama, además de observar humedades y manchas en las paredes. Solicitamos cambiar estas habitaciones pero nos dijeron que todo estaba completo. En el baño de la habitación correcta, no funcionaba la cisterna del váter, vinieron unos operarios pero siguió igual, además de dejar herramientas y piezas en el baño. Al final nos arreglamos nosotros. No nos pareció correcto pagar lo mismo por estas habitaciones. No pudimos contactar con el administrador ya que teníamos unos tours programados de muchas horas y al final pensamos que por 2 noches que nos quedaban, ya no valía la pena. De todas maneras, querría remarcar que la encargada Sara fue muy amable y servicial, atendiéndonos en la medida de sus posibilidades. Sintiéndolo mucho no puedo recomendar su hotel y les sugiero que informen mejor de las condiciones de sus habitaciones.

Siamo delusi dal nostro soggiorno presso questo hotel. I climatizzatori erano fuori uso, la camera presentava problemi evidenti, il bagno era in uno stato inaccettabile con la presenza di insetti, biancheria sporca ed acqua calda razionata. Il personale, purtroppo, non si è dimostrato competente e non ha fatto nulla per risolvere i problemi interni. Un'esperienza complessivamente sgradevole.

Não tenho palavras para descrever a atenção e a cordialidade de todos os funcionários, em especial do Rodolfo, proprietários do hotel, que nos ajudou de uma forma que somente um pai faria. Sem contar que o hotel é muito bem localizado, com instalações confortáveis, limpas, amplas, arejadas… excelente opção em San Pedro do Atacama!

Die Anlage verfügt über schöne (recht enge) 2 bis 4-Bett-Zimmer mit zentralem Pool, Spa und Parkplatz. Zentrale Lage, bis zur Innenstadt sind es 5-10 Gehminuten. Das Personal ist freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit - insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert, gerade auch für Reisegruppen von bis zu 20 Personen.
