It is the third time that I have stayed at this hotel. Come back because of the good service received. But this time it was not like that. When checking in they did not have our reservation on hand and we left a guarantee payment. Reception staff with poor problem solving skills. The room did not have the minimum welcome items (bottles of water, toilet paper), we asked and they gave it to us but they took it from another room. The restaurant waiter service left us much to be desired. Preference was given to foreign clients who were not staying at the hotel.

Older hotel on the beach in Melaque. We had 2 rooms, one didn't have hot water in the shower. My room's A/C didn't work, so staff moved me to another room which was fine. Beach access was easy and several tables with umbrellas were reserved for hotel guests. Open air restaurant's food was great and they brought food ou to the beach tables. Good cable TV although only CNN was in English. Beds were very comfortable. Rooms were noisy-- windows need double panes
