Hotel Colonial San Nicolás

Honestamente no es un hotel 4 estrellas ni de casualidad, por lo que leí en otros comentarios, obviamente son pagos, relatan cosas como un gerente que yo nunca ví, una pileta romana que jamás me ofrecieron, un restaurante maravilloso que estaba cerrado, y no el día que dice su página, si no un día antes, la recepción pésima, no saben nada, le consulte si al lado de la piscina había un vestidor, me dijo que no, y cuando fui había dos hermosos baños hasta con ducha, la habitación 309, suite superior, jajajajaja,no me imagino lo que es la inferior, el control remoto del aire no funcionaba, la bañera de hidromasaje tenía unos hermosos frascos con sales un espuma de baño, pero no funcionaba, le pregunté a recepción, y su simple respuesta fue un "no", sin disculparse, sin pedir perdón, ni nada,el frigobar vacío, el lobby bar que tantos elogian, no tenían ni para hacer un liquido como la gente,para enchufar la licuadora, dese chufo un dispenser de agua frío calor, cuando fui a pedirle agua para el mate,se había olvidado volverla a enchufar, así que no tenía agua caliente, la verdad, vine dos veces, hoy 24 de noviembre de 2024, por primera vez, y hoy 24 de noviembre de 2024, por ultima vez, un desastre, la peor experiencia hotelera de mi vida y sale 140 dolares la habitación doble, por.favor, no pierdan tiempo, se quedó en el tiempo tanto del hotel, como de la ciudad, por que la ciudad creció para otro lado, y el hotel ahora quedo lejos de la entrada y lejos del centro, tragico es poco, Tripadvisor ponganse media pila, dejen de ofrecer estos hoteles del siglo pasado, sin mantenimiento, sin personal calificado, sin conocimiento, sin cumplimiento básico de lo que es un cuatro estrellas, básico eh, solo eso pedía,ah,el spa también Estaba cerrado, de locos.

Excelente atención, el gerente Adrian esta en todos los detalles, cada persona que trabaja en el hotel amable , dispuesta .las instalaciones aunque antiguas, esta todo impecable. El spa maravilloso, los masajes de Jose espectaculares. El jardín con una arboleda añeja increíble. La pile romana calentita, y mantenida 100 puntos. Graciasss!!! Volveremos

Hermoso hotel, bien colonial, instalaciones impecables y una atención del personal 5 estrellas!!! El bar muy bueno y el restaurante finísimo!! Un parque extraordinario, muy amplio con piletas climatizadas y hasta un zoológico particular ¡¡¡ tranquilidad absoluta !!!

The attention of the staff was very correct and the ladies at the restaurant were very empathetic and attentive. The breakfast, criticized by many, was impeccable, a large assortment of fruits, pastries, juices, coffee, teas, milk, etc. The colonial-type building (1957) restored in 2000, very nice. There are some details that should not be allowed to deteriorate, such as taking care of paint, tiles and blinds (in the annex) that should prevent them from deteriorating to maintain the general condition. The looby is very spacious and well-kept. The bar is very well placed, but it would seem a bit expensive. The restaurant, with very abundant dishes and of very good quality and quality, also the place is very nice. The prices may be a little high, but the location and the attention make up for it. Truly a dream hotel, with a very large and perfectly preserved Spanish-style construction, excellent service in both rooms and concierge, a charming bar and a luxury restaurant! Not to mention the huge park with its own zoo and two large pools!! The tranquility of that place is immense!!!

The Hotel is beautiful, the architecture is impressive, the park is very nice, the pools are beautiful. Very good food and service in the restaurant. Excellent breakfast. Spacious rooms, very comfortable beds and comfortable bathroom. In general everything is very good, but details are missing that would make the stay much more pleasant: It cannot be that a hotel of this category offers rooms without a minibar, (even if they are standard), nowadays, any much cheaper hotel offers this comfort. The pool closes at 8:00 p.m., but at 6:00 p.m. they close the bar, so with this heat, outside of those hours, to have something cool while enjoying the water, you have to go to the reception bar. Added to that there is NOT a single umbrella in the pool! To have shade you have to seek shelter under the trees, which are several meters away. There are no tables either, only lounge chairs in the pool or armchairs in the park, so to support personal items, either another armchair is used or directly on the floor, where there are many ants. The hot water pool (very high for the summer) has a single broken shower. If you want to cool off, you should do so with the bottom faucet. If check-in is at 3:00 p.m. and check-out at 11:00 a.m., they should at least allow you to deliver the room at that time, but be able to use the facilities, for example, being able to stay in the pool until completing the 24-hour stay, that is , until 3:00 p.m., without having to pay late check out. The hotel should have a games room with a ping pong table, pool, tables to play cards... Investing in minibars, umbrellas, tables and a games room would offer greater comfort and compliance to guests.
