Casa Misha is a gem! Welcoming and most helpful staff😄 Breakfast every morning on our courtyard balcony. We will recommend and stay again if we return!

We discovered Casa Misha on google maps which indicated it was a 3 star hotel. 5 stars would be more accurate. Casa Misha is a gorgeous 17th century house now a 4 bedroom boutique hotel. Like most properties in San Miguel the exterior in no way is an indicator of the charm and beauty behind the door. Opening the front door reveals a beautiful courtyard with a fountain, gardens, terraces and rooftops with amazing views. This hotel was as nice as any Relais en Chateaux rated property we’ve stayed at which such features as fresh flowers in the room, huge thick towels, luxurious sheets, a fireplace, upper end toiletries and great decor. The hotel has numerous rooms including several parlors and a dining room all filled with colonial era antiques. There are lots of terraces with plants and flowers everywhere. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room, which was really a suite, was the terrace room and featured a large outdoor area with a dining set up and chaise lounges which we enjoyed in the afternoon while reading books. The hotel provides a huge breakfast which we always took on the terrace. The bathroom had double sinks and it was full of beautiful colorful tiles, just what you’d expect in a Mexican colonial era home. The location is the best you could possibly find in SMA being only a short flat walk to the Jardine/plaza. There are at least two rooftop restaurants within a 3 minute walk and loads within an easy quick stroll. San Miguel is truly a foodie city with an amazing number of restaurants and bars, lots of which are on rooftops or in quaint old buildings courtyards. Can’t wait to return to this beautiful city and Casa Misha,

Casa Misha is an extraordinary find. It is a misnomer to identify it as a hotel because it is so much more. Our “room” was more like a tastefully decorated apartment. Huge closet, large bathroom with spacious bath tub and shower with two sinks and a large bedroom and seating area. There are only four or five such suites and we never saw another guest. Breakfast, and rage included breakfasts are excellent, was served in a library type annex with a couch, fireplace and desk in addition to a beautiful round wooden dining table just off a beautiful courtyard. Patios with beautiful views - it is a very short walk to the central square. But what makes Casa Misha most special is the people. The nicest, friendliest, most courteous and helpful people you will ever encounter. A true joy to interact with. Just genuinely decent people.

Look no further than casa Misha for a perfect stay in SMA. Where do I begin?! The staff- Juan, Monica (chef extraordinaire), Ramon, Ramiro made us feel like a queen and king going way out of their way to make us feel at home. The room - or should I say suite was Terrazo. Huge. Private terrace with umbrella shade. Gorgeous decorating. 5 star robes, huge bathroom shower tub Oxitane shampoo conditioner soaps. Twice daily maid service with turn down and chocolates. Five star pillows linens mattress. The casa- multiple terraces and outdoor spaces with fountains, gorgeous landscaping, bougainvilleas draping all courtyards - you feel like you’re in a botanical garden. The top terrace has an unbelievable view of Parroquia, San Rafael, San Fransisco, day and of course all lit up at night. Bells chiming. Simply a magical experience to have wine on this patio and our private patio. Location- 5 min walk to city center Parroquia etc. perfect location. Forget the Rosewood hotel. We went for a drink. At Luna. Rip off. $28 glass of wine. Terrible service. Location terrible. 15 min walk to city c center. Stay at Casa Misha. Trust me. Richard the owner- fabulous from the beginning. Answered emails promptly. Spot on with restaurant recommendations. Spot on. His advice was so very helpful. He arranged RT transportation from QRO which was perfect. I’m finishing my huevos rancheros with homemade tortillas and refried beans and sausage and hashbrowns and fruit and fresh squeezed OJ. I will miss this place. There is no other place I would stay in SMA. Stay here. You will love it.

We recently stayed at Casa Misha for 3 nights to attend a wedding in San Miguel de Allende, and our accommodation was outstanding! The boutique nature of the property is the opposite of generic. Our first floor room, Jardin, was large, clean, and decorated with fresh flowers, a stone fireplace, nice fabrics, lots of regional ceramics, interesting furniture and area rugs. All the common spaces are equal in quality and originality. We had a private patio although there are multiple, charming outdoor spaces to enjoy including a rooftop retreat. It feels as though you are staying in a very nice villa or private home. As others have indicated, the made-to-order breakfast was excellent. Juan, the daytime attendant, was terrific--personable, helpful and attentive to detail. The location was also excellent, on a quiet, cobbled street in the historic district. We walked to every desired location, restaurant or venue, and never felt unsafe. The French bakery (Panio) near the end of the street makes an excellent kouign amann and has good carry-out sandwiches. El Pegaso restaurant, which is popular with the locals, is also very close and has very reasonable, authentic Mexican food. I understand why Casa Misha is so highly acclaimed after our memorable stay!

Hospitality Redefined is not a slogan, it is 24!7. Staff is engaging and well trained. Rooms are all a little different but all are wonderful. Top shelf linens, sheets, pillows, towels, bath robes, etc. Breakfast is cooked to order and you can choose to have it in your room, one of the parlors or one of the rooftop terraces. Valet parking available. Great location near to central square. Gas logs in every room. We stay frequently and it is an oasis for us. You will not be disappointed !

Absolutely charming! Also exceptionally tastefully decorated with beds and linens that are not only exquisite, but unbelievably soft and comfortable! We make regular visits to Casa Misha because of the perfect location near the city square and all the restaurants and shopping, as well as it being the perfect experience for a restful stay in a quiet, peaceful, and beautiful setting. And for sure, a personable and gracious staff - especially Juan with his smiles and eagerness to make every detail perfect. And this boutique hotel, with all its charm and indescribable comfort, is indeed PERFECT for us! We feel we have been on a delightful retreat each time we leave and always feel like we are “going home” when we return. A gem nestled on a small side street but convenient to everything!
