Casa Cien Hilos

Lovely property, no internet for 1/2 our stay Beautifully designed property and it was initially on our list for frequenting as we are renovating a home nearby. The rooms are large and very well equipped with a good coffee maker, bathroom amenities, and very nice linens, including robes. Lighting is good and there were two outdoor areas attached to the room in which we stayed. There is no elevator but that is a minor inconvenience. The maid comes daily and resupplied the room, including with fresh water bottles. There is no restaurant on the property but we knew that. What skewed the review was the fact the internet went out for 2 of our 4 day stay. Although we reported to the front desk (which is only staffed part of the day), they repeatedly said it was an area problem and they couldn’t get through to the internet provider. Given we know the neighborhood well as we normally live around the corner, we checked with others on the street (who used the same provider) and the internet was working. I left a message via Facebook which went unanswered. As we needed to work part of the time there, we spent our days finding coffee shops and restaurants at which we could work and drinking too many coffees and limonadas. Too bad as otherwise it’s a very nice location with lovely amenities, but we would not risk going there again.
