Villa Vitti's - Verona Est

We visited the hotel for a weekend stay of two nights, and chose this place primarily because of the pool area. Our main intention was to relax by the pool – ideally on a couple of the approximately 30 sunbeds available to guests. Unfortunately, this turned out to be impossible, as the entire pool area, including the adjacent lawn, was completely occupied by day visitors who were not staying at the hotel. The receptionist at the entrance was continuously selling day passes to external guests, which resulted in hotel guests being unable to find space by the pool. It was clear that revenue from day visitors was being prioritized over the comfort and experience of paying overnight guests. The room itself was clean and nicely maintained, which we appreciated. However, at a price of €300 for two nights, it is disappointing that the facilities – especially the pool area, which was the main reason we chose this hotel – were unusable due to overcrowding by non-resident guests. Quite frankly, we find this unacceptable.
