My wife and I had a very upsetting experience during our stay at Comfort Suites in San Marcos. We discovered insects crawling on the bed and inside my CPAP machine, and both of us suffered multiple bites. I took photos and a video and reported the incident immediately. However, the situation only worsened when I tried to follow up. I was transferred to the assistant manager, Jennifer, who accused me of lying, refused to listen, and hung up on me before I had a chance to speak. This was deeply disrespectful and completely inappropriate given the seriousness of the issue. I have submitted all evidence to corporate and reported the matter to health authorities. I would strongly caution anyone considering a stay here. No guest should be treated this way, especially when raising a legitimate health concern.

Location convenient. Tub faucet was loose and needed recaulking. Tub also had major rust stains. Third floor button in the elevator was covered over w/painter's tape (?!).

Hotel is not at all like what it looks like in pictures we found small roaches in our room fire alarm went off at midnight front desk said they were resetting it why would they do that at night when ppl are sleeping! We kept smelling cigarette smoke in the hall it was awful. My kids wanted to get in the pool and that was a big NO it was green dirty with algae. I would not recommend this place at all!

Grass overgrown. Pool green. Hotel not clean. Broken air conditioning units facing street. Ceiling leaks & trashcans catching water. Cobwebs in room. Dirt & small bugs in bathtub. Hotel smelled of mold /mildew !! Staff inept. Mgr just made excuses rather than taking responsibility !

The smell was really really bad, there was no peep hole and you could see into our room and it was very humid also the pool was really duty not what was in the pictures.

The hotel did not look well-kept. From the grounds to the interior of the hotel, nothing resembled the pictures online. I WILL NOT be returning..

The place was not what I expected at all. The grass in the front was long. As soon as we walked into our room we could smell Mold. There was peace of paper for on the door with the plastic cover and that was filled with water when we looked in the corner of the door that's when we saw the mold.
