La Quinta Inn by Wyndham San Marcos

Could not stay in the first room that I was assigned to. It smelt too bad was given a different room on the opposite side of the building. It didn’t smell as bad, but it still smelt bad. Could not watch Netflix or anything cast from the phone because the volume was locked down on the TV so low that even sitting in front of it, you still could not hear it Most places that advertise breakfast included start the breakfast at 6 AM. There’s did not start until 7 AM at which time I’ve already left for my appointments each morning By 3 o’clock the next day, my key card no longer worked. I had to go get it reprogrammed what if nobody had been there  

Quiet and everything was cleaned. No complain whatsoever. Would definitely stay on any La Quinta moving forward so if anyone is looking for anything above my comments please don’t hesitate to stay.

When I arrived there were bugs everywhere on the ground outside. When I went in my room, the bugs were in there as well...on the floor, in the sink, tub and toilet. Changed rooms from ground floor to 2nd floor...same thing.....ended up sleeping in my car.

Ask for a room away from I35 if not you hear traffic all night. Room was right for the price. Pancake machine was broken so breakfast was a toast cereal yogurt —kids wanted waffles or pancakes. Easy access to i35 and local amenities

It’s ok

I rate this because the area was alright but there were quite a few of homeless people around in the parking lot. Then we found so many bugs cockroaches in our room, and this was very unacceptable. The bathtub kept creaking and it felt like we were about to fall through the tub. Then there was a paper towel covering a hole in the roof of the bathroom. Also our sink got so backed up on our first night.
