We've spent Many times at Sands Inn! And the rooms we stay in are Always Great! We Always like to go in the pool or the hot tub! And this is very close to one of our son's family, where he has 2 sons! We Also like to eat and drink in the morning from the breakfast room at Sands! Monica Severson

Even though I had the sign of DO NOT DISTURB, they went inside the room and left some towels,,, meanwhile… my only pants I left hanging in the bathroom with 2 cards which I had always in a zipper pocket, were removed and one of them stolen.. I knew immediately when I went to the gas station and at the time of paying ,,,put my hand in the pocket they always are and surprise NO CARDS!! Then I found only one of them in the back pocket …Thing I NEVER DO. I went back and called them ASAP after canceling my card . and Scott the manager in a very rude mode practically did nothing but saying his staff is the best. I even said I’m giving you a warning , a heads up pf your staff so be careful with them and he said they train them and have protocols and that staff is the best … and on my reply I said: They DON’T FOLLOW your protocols because they went inside the room EVEN-THOUGH I HAD THE DO NOT DISTURB CARD , and he hang up on me.

The wood floors made the room feel real clean. The room and appliances were updated. Great breakfast. A little over a mile to downtown SLO. Walking got us home faster than calling an uber. Great value for the price. Will stay here again. A+
