I like this very much, the environment is very good, the scenery is beautiful, especially at night, there are enough parking spaces, the room is clean, and the bed is very comfortable! highly recommended!

It's great but the people at the front said have to change rooms every few days while paying it because them saying the bathroom gets wet from people washing and to dry it out, it is strange to have this happen, and I read in the room about the earth and keeping more water and won't clean room every day and put towels you would keep where the hook is and dirty towels on the floor to have housekeeping pick up and have clean ones and it is probably that the rooms would be cleaned weekly because of it but wouldn't the housekeeping clean the room instead of changing you around and the hotel keeps getting full having it harder to put you in a room that is available I think there's other reasons to it, a post from the room says they're with the American Hotel and Lodging Association, I thought that it would find out things to have it understanding and agreeable

I found this property to be average. While clean and comfortable and with a classic motor lodge vibe, I found the rooms needing an upgrade from their 70s/80s decor. Given the high room rate ($189 before fees and taxes), I expected more and newer amenities. Basic continental breakfast provided. Just off 101 highway. Ask for room in lower parking lot away from busy Monterey Street.

Nice staff, and a cute property particularly the outdoor areas. Nice porch outside the breakfast room, and swing hanging from a tree farther back. Really wish the bathroom had a fan considering how humid the area climate is at times, and it's odd they don't given the single story buildings with exterior wall bathrooms. Also the cleaning was inconsistent. Overall it was clean, but the shower had some out of place sections of moldy grout higher up that made one wonder how long since the walls were last cleaned. The kind of thing that would just take a moment to clean when cleaning the shower if you weren't blind, so that was weird. It seems priced about right compared to other hotel chains in SLO. Not as nice as say a Holiday Inn Express, but cheaper with more character.
