A hidden Gem, service was amazing, we loved Chris!! food was beyond our expectations. We typically stay in 5 plus star hotels ,this in not a 5 plus, but for the price and what you get was awesome! super clean, not sleek, but nice...we would go back! its like going back into the 1960 vibe!

Just returned from a fantastic stay at the Ragged Point Inn. We had a king room with an ocean view (2nd floor). The room was very quiet, spacious, and comfortable. We enjoyed the whirlpool hot tub and lovely views. You will enjoy dramatic views of the coast line from the grounds and can walk down to the beach. Hearst Castle is only twenty minutes down the road. I highly recommend if you are in the area.

Highly recommended. I passed by via Highway 1 in the afternoon of Thanksgiving Monday 26 May WITHOUT a booking (the exodus had left earlier in the day, and would only recommend doing this off-season!!). I felt welcome from the first minute. I already had a few preferred rooms in mind and the friendly gentleman in the reception simply offered that I could have a look at the room and then decide. I initially booked one night but ended up extending my stay since I got this good room with super-view, and moreover the service in the restaurant was good (2x breakfast/2x dinner), and the meal/menu choices are far better in quality than I had expected. Given the location it’s of course not cheap, but I feel that price = quality. Recommended for 2 nights. There is not much you can do, but it’s an excellent place to relax with a book and/or enjoy the view…. next stop directly across the Pacific is likely somewhere between the Philippines or Australia.

What a wonderful hotel with spectacular views! The rooms were well appointed, very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and was equipped with high end amenities. The staff is warm and friendly, welcomed us with big smiles. There is a restaurant on site which serves amazing food. The hours aren't long so plan your meals accordingly. If you enjoy hiking, there's a moderate trail down to the ocean and waterfall. If you prefer less strenuous activity, strolling the beautiful grounds among the gardens is for you. While in the area, check out the sweet little town of Cambria. So cute!! One night at this hotel won't be enough! You'll wish you had booked a longer stay

Amazing views
Our room had an amazing view. It was so nice hear the ocean waves. The grounds are beautiful. The bed was very comfortable and room was clean. We also enjoyed the fireplace in the evening.
