El hotel Decameron San Luis está horriblemente lejos de todo, lo cual lo hace poco práctico para desplazarse en la isla. Lo más grave, y por lo cual no lo recomiendo en absoluto, es la calidad de las bebidas alcohólicas que usan en los cócteles. En dos visitas distintas, dos acompañantes tuvieron reacciones muy negativas al consumir tragos de aguardiente Antioqueño, vodka o whisky, bebidas que normalmente no generan ese tipo de comportamientos. La respuesta del hotel fue simplemente excusarse diciendo que "no obligan a nadie a consumirlos", lo cual me parece inaceptable. 😱 El servicio como tal es correcto, pero la actitud del personal que atiende deja mucho que desear.

Decameron San Luis de no es igual a lo que se ve en las fotos y la experiencia de “a todo sí, todo incluido” no es realmente en la calidad ni cumplimiento que uno espera y/o que le prometen; la comida no tiene la variedad ni el sabor esperado, la atención del personal de recepción no es el adecuado (frente a situaciones humanas, de salud, de atención al huésped no son atentos, comprensivos, justos ni respetuosos), hay incumplimiento en la hora de entrega (el check in no es a las 3 como indican), las instalaciones se ven descuidadas, no hay ventilación en el restaurante más allá de los espacios que quedan cerca a las ventanas/puertas y el costo alto no justifica nada de la experiencia que se tiene. No es un buen lugar.

Iba con ciertos prejuicios por comentarios que habia leído pero mi opinion más sincera es que el hotel es aceptable. Lo bueno: la atención en los restaurantes, algo hicieron para mejorar y se siente. Todos muy amable, muy pendientes de tu bebida, de recoger tus platos, de darte una atencion especial y la comida es buena. La habitacion no es lujosa pero es cómoda y bien distribuida. Afuera del hotel pueden preguntar por el señor Frank, nos llevó al aeropuerto de madrugada y fue muy responsable. Lo malo: Tuve un problema con el aire acondicionado y tuvimos que cambiar de habitacion. Las bebidas alcoholicas muy regulares. El hotel es lejos del centro y un taxi cobra 50mil pesos, uno debe ir preparado para eso aunque los buses pasan al frente y demoran 35min aprox en llegar al centro pero no es cómodo ir y venir, sólo por eso no volveria. Lo feo: los snacks en la tarde, hamburguesas y perros casi siempre con un pan seco, nada suave y deficiente logistica de atencion en ese espacio.

El personal es muy amable y las instalaciones muy lindas. Creo que el aseo de la habitación podría ser mejor, igual que la comida (comparada con otros hoteles decameron en los que me he alojado). La playa frente al hotel tiene una gran cantidad de fauna marina que la hace verdaderamente espectacular.
