The hotel is fine for a quick layover between flight and cruise but I still won’t stay here again. Why? Well, the fire exit door squeaked all night sounding like a baby screaming, the clerk upon check in was rude, the shower floor was filthy, there are no vending machines and ice is only available on the 4th floor, the hotel is located in a wind tunnel, and nothing is close by unless you want to eat at the Caribe Hilton (why not just stay there is I have to go there for everything?).
i wish i had read more reviews before i booled..

Stayed here solo and felt very safe! I had a very late check-in/out and there was someone at the front desk to assist. The views from the balcony are beautiful. A security guard was present most times, but there were times I walked in and no one was there, but SJ is fairly safe. Although breakfast was included, there weren't many options, but that's expected considering its affordable to stay here. Having food delivered was not an issue. The room was very spacious, though dated. It is in a convenient location, ubers had no issue finding the hotel and it wasn't unreasonably long drives to explore the island. I'd recommend if you don't mind not having a pool onsite and you won't spend much time onsite, otherwise go for a more appealing hotel with more to do.

I do not recommend staying at this hotel. Parking is difficult for those unfamiliar with the area. The card they gave me when I paid for parking never worked. I asked for towels to be brought to the room, but they never arrived. The breakfast had no protein and was very poor. The room was dirty, and the carpet felt strange, old, and filthy. The phone didn't work, and the hot water took a long time to arrive. The only nice thing about it was the view from the balcony. The restaurant at breakfast was also very nice, and the location of this hotel was also very nice. I would not stay here again.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed. Roaches, rooms dirty, bedbugs, no water and no a/c. Your genuine complaints go on deaf ears, manager is a liar, makes you stay to only to later deny a full refund. He promised a full refund to later only issue a partial after our ordeal. Then ask his security team to escort me out. Please help me close this place. DO NOT STAY HERE.
