Somos Hotel

The hotel is in an area that’s accentuates poverty and safety issues. Poor management and it’s definitely not catered to women that travel alone. Parking is sketchy the farther you travel from the hotel. Disappointments didn’t come short for the price paid for one night. Rooms are small but clean , however no running water to wash up with and no designated time was given to when it would start working again. The vibe was weird and as soon as I checked in I checked out. Emailed the property but never recieved a response. However today I designated time to help fellow travelers dodge this spot and stay more in the tourist area if your budget allows. You he what you pay for here and it shows. One star is all I have to give.

Somos Hotel is a colorful hotel in San Juan, and it was a pleasure to stay here. It has a bar with fairly priced drinks, an air hockey table, and some arcade machines. There's also a media/meeting room you can use, and there's complimentary coffee/water and a microwave in the main lounge. I stayed in a premium queen bedroom, and the space was a tad bit small, but it worked for my party of two. The staff is also very friendly and welcoming. One of the housekeeping workers did a great job organizing our place while we were gone, so I was very satisfied. The only complaint I have is less a problem with the hotel and more a problem with San Juan and its subsidized water system, which is that the water pressure would rise and lower at random points of the day. Sometimes, there will be no running water. However, the staff try their absolute hardest and fastest to adjust the valves of the building to fix it. I would suggest having some sort of water on standby to help you wash your hands if the water ever goes out. I must reiterate that this is NOT a problem unique to Somos Hotel, and it is a problem with the city of San Juan itself. If you plan to stay in San Juan, this is something you should be aware of.

Clean,cozy,friendly and almost felted like home.I went with my to stay and he was happy.Is near everything walking distance.The front desk personnel was very friendly and kind.We sleeped like a baby and got me some good coffee witch is free and went on with my day.Just be careful at night in the area.

This hotel is a perfect blend of style and affordability. The rooms are modern and comfortable. The bar is a nice place to unwind after a day of exploring the city. The selfie room adds a playful touch to the stay. The location is ideal, with easy access to many great eateries and the beach. Staff were courteous and attentive. I will definitely return!

As someone who values safety when traveling, I felt completely at ease at Somos Hotel. The hotel has secure access and the area is quiet but lively. Plus, being so close to the beach, grocery stores, and local dining spots made everything super convenient. Highly recommended for couples, solo travelers, or small groups!

From the moment I arrived, the staff at Somos Hotel made me feel welcome. They were very attentive and gave excellent recommendations for local eateries and attractions. The hotel itself is beautifully designed with a modern Caribbean flair. I spent a few evenings enjoying drinks at the bar and loved the lively yet laid-back vibe. The selfie room was a fun surprise and made my stay memorable. Highly recommend this hotel!
