Laguna Beach House

We love staying at this little gem. It has everything one needs for a short getaway, and the location is superb, just around the corner to beautiful Heisler beach, and just few minutes walking distance away from the Main beach. Nicely designed. The beds and pillows are super comfy. The hotel provides daily fresh cookies and wine during our stay, which was such a pleasant surprise. Would definitely come back.

Amazing location with about a five minute walk to the beach. Lots of supermarkets and facilities nearby. They also provide parking for guests which is ideal. I loved the surfing theme of the hotel. Some things in the bathroom might be a bit old, but still function well.

Took my family to visit the Rock Pile Beach in Laguna Beach and stayed at the Laguna Beach House and loved it. It had exactly what we were looking for as a small family. The location is excellent , right near the beach with a nice park to play in. Customer service was great, friendly and smiling! We will definitely stay here again if back in this location.

I rarely write a review, but felt the hotel management should take note of our experience, although unfortunately we will not have the opportunity to receive a refund or have a different experience. We stayed one night for my partner's Birthday, and the cost with parking, room, amenity fee, and later check out was over $600. The room was very basic for this price, but we were both looking forward to using the pool and relaxing a little. After checking in, we went upstairs to our room, only to hear several screaming children who were jumping and diving into the pool while their parents yelled and hooted as they did so. There were at least 4 or 5 kids there, with at least 3 adults who were cheering them on. The pool are is not big, so there was very little possiblity that an adult would be able to comfortably use the pool. It was used as a children's playground essentially, with the parents who were not advised by the hotel staff to be respectful of the community of other guests. Not only was the pool area essentially unusable, but the noise from the screaming guests (children and adults) was so loud that it permeated our hotel room very loudly. I even went outside on the railing to see if it was worth saying anything, but was discouraged by the scene to do anything about it. My partner and I immediately realized that there would be nothing relaxing, romantic, or restful about our stay. We also gave up on using the pool. It was a very sad way to spend our time at the hotel and I felt like I wasted over $600 for the experience. The hotel staff never said anythign to quite the children or the screeming adults at the pool, nor did anyone apoligize for the noise and discomfort to other guests. It was a terrible experience.

This is a lovely little spot on the Coast Highway in Laguna Beach. I would say that most rooms do not have a view of the beach, as this spot is sandwiched between a building in the front and side, but nonetheless, it's a delightful spot that has been refurbished in vintage surf style. Rooms are very clean and pristine -- done in all white just so you know. Most front desk staff are fabulous and seem to be at least bilingual if not more. The vibe is casual coast. There is a wine hour, and if you're not picky, you will enjoy. Wine hour is followed by cookie hour, which suited me quite nicely. Pool is small but nice and includes a hot tub and a separate fire pit area. We had the patio room which was FABULOUS. I highly recommend. Bed was super comfy and the honor bar prices are extremely fair.
