The hostel is very nice and stylishly furnished and is very well located near the city center, so that all the big museums and the theater as well as many bars, cafes and restaurants are within walking distance. It is a hostel, so you can't expect absolute peace and quiet, but I didn't find it disturbing. Street noise is negligible. The staff is very friendly and helpful, everything is clean. By car from the airport, the journey takes about 40 minutes outside of rush hour.

Since I couldn't get on the plane at Hong Kong Airport and the airline refused to let me fly (there is evidence to prove it), I contacted the hotel to check out in time. The hotel customer service said at first that it was OK, check out! Later, I contacted the hotel again, but they didn't reply to my message, kept making excuses, and kept saying it was pending. As of now, 6 days have passed, and the hotel customer service has not replied to any message.

Curtains on the bed which is a killer feature to get some intimacy and sleep better. Common spaces are well designed. Yoga class in the morning is highly recommended. People are welcoming but usually won't stay for long as San Jose is usually a step to go somewhere else. Except a few co-workers.
