Besides having no ****** as name states. At first found out room had no English tv. then was hanged to anther room with no English tv. the third room had only 8 old programs in English and no news station. 80% of guest in hotel ******* are Americans.
Real problem got charged 15$ for girl that came as guest to my room......we had a problem . girl did not want to do anthing promised, after 5 minutes and had to have security and manager get her out of my room. I was asking the manager to refund the $15 the hotel charged for girl. the manager said they are private contractors and no refund for me. I paid the 15 to hotel not gird. did not use the room. please refund my $15 for the guest. it enough i got scamed by the girl.. ...PS, manager had no desire to ban that girl from hotel. She is going to rip another DelRey Guest in the near future.
The old management would never let that girl into the Delrey to con another guest.
Please refund my$15. hurrable charge for girl

Our greatest compliments for the del rey hotel specially all friendly & attentive stuff reception, restaurant, bar and lobby.
Great location right in center of town.
The place is a bit old style with large spacious rooms superclean always.
Restaurant is serving good food choices.
There is a bit of entertainment scene
with friendly ladies if desired but no bother.
We stayed there several times since
touring costa rica and found as well
the free parking situation favourable.
Lets say for city life a great choice
anytime recommended.

Good place, worth the budget for solo travelers, party seekers and groups of friends. Friendly staff and helpful front desk/concierge makes up for the 'less-than-5star' condition of the property. The restaurant opposite is a true gem. The bar on 1st floor is the highlight - absolute party place. Amigos, stay well on higher floors in budget, eat nice, roam around the wonderful country in the morning and noontime with friendly drivers (the hotel can arrange for you)... Relax a bit in the afternoon... And party hard in the bar at night...

Place is a is a relic literally a ghost town seems like that part of town has gone down more people work there than stayed there the hotel staff were very nice. The hotel is very old. Somehow they could never get the money exchange correct and definitely not in your favor, it was a good hotel, no ****** the bar had nobody in it

holy cow, busy but great place. easy from airport to the hotel. nice bar, lots of freindly people, very safe, food was good drinks were good, surely i will visit again soon, save me a room on top floor,

Had a very unique experience. The staff was very helpful. Sara the event planner was incredible. She arranged two outings for me. The first was to the volcano Poás and then to flower garden and zoo filled with local animals. The second was to Arenal volcano and hot springs. The people who were approving the purchase online were too slow that she was going to have to stay overtime to complete the transaction. Not only did she complete the transaction after her shift. She also met me at the restaurant. Give me the details. Unfortunately the first trip I sprained my ankle badly and had to rely on Oscar to get me ice go to the pharmacy if needed and be my general helper to get better. The hotel had a very nice rock concert on Friday night, but in general it is empty as is the bar and ******. Unfortunately, there are no more chicas or ladies to draw customers.

Booked online, everywhere you look this hotel is listed to have a ****** when we got there there is NO ****** WHATSOEVER AND THE ROOMS ARE VERY DIRTY AND UNSANITARY AND THE MANAGEMENT IS MONEY HUNGRY every since the first day I told them it’s not acceptable and didn’t even stay there 1 night thought ******* would take care of me but they have also failed to do so

not a bad location. a bit dated. 6th floor balcony rooms are quite nice, interior rooms not so much. beds were comfortable, shower had good water temp but water pressure was inconsistent. hotel was clean as was the room. staff were helpful. no bar or ******, both appear to have closed a few years back. music is played loudly in the lobby until about 1230-1am which reaches a lot of the hotel rooms. not enough electric plugs (or any usb plugs). needed to unplug room phone or clock to charge phone, ipad, etc. food was not bad and priced well. not a bad place to stay but there are probably better for the same price. If you like having a balcony that you can walk out on to and have fresh air in your room i would recommend. AC and fan worked well with out too much noise

Hotel has changed ownership. Now no women allowed like before. Bar and hotel are empty. Former owner died recently and this hotel has just died along with it It's a ghost town. Rooms still old . TV gets just HBO in English no other English channels. I was here 6 months ago had a great time but the fun is over as of 10 days ago Avoid.
