Book only one night needed to be closed to the airport prior to leaving Costa Rica. I arrived too early to check in so I left my backpack in the storage and went sightseeing. Rooms were cleaned however my issues was with the cleanliness of the bathrooms I wish they were cleaner . Shower’s didn’t have any hooks or shelves and I didn’t have anywhere to but my stuff other then the floor. I found a very cockroach in the shower which was also gross. Bathrooms could definitely be cleaner and furniture could be less broken done. Definitely more on the budget friendly side.

A very good hostel.
Safe location, with plenty of restaurants nearby.
Not far from the city center, within walking distance.
Large common area with a pool, kitchen, and bar.
Reliable internet.
The hotel provides a lot of useful transportation and travel information. Highly recommended.

I booked this hotel for one night. I booked the private room with a shared bathroom. I needed to go to bank and the lady at the front desk gave me the wrong directions which sent me further than I needed to go. I left my bags in the room as the room was still being prepared. When I got back from the ATM which was one block away not the long 5 blocks this lady sent me, my luggage was opened and some items were stolen out of my luggage. When I got back the lady at frontdesk was gone so I am confident it was here that stole my stuff. I inquired at front desk with a guy who was there and he ignored me while I was speaking to him. The staff are not honest and the customer service is horrible. I will never return or refer anyone here.
