My husband I were there for business in the San Jose area and decided it made sense to stay in the downtown area. We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel, simple rooms but that was made up for with the comfortable and well designed common area and lobby. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A shout out to the front desk staff and especially (Fabricio) who was able to help me locate and get medical treatment for a family member we were meeting who needed attention immediately. Also to the other young men and women at the front desk who were able to help me get to some of my destinations in the safest and most efficient way. A great breakfast and phenomenal rooftop restaurant and outdoor dining. We could see the city from the top of the rooftop table and the restaurant staff were especially kind and helpful. Although many people told us to not go to San Jose, I would definitely recommend this hotel and it's centralized location. I would definitely return in the future. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant Hotel Presidente!

Tolles Hotel mit freundlichen Mitarbeitern. Herausragende Zimmer mit viel Platz und einem sehr sauberen Badezimmer. Das Hotel ist sehr modern und erstreckt sich über mehrere Stockwerke. Es ist jedoch ein Aufzug vorhanden. Das hoteleigene Restaurant ist sehr gut und nicht zu teuer. Das Frühstück war zudem wirklich sehr gut! Das beste was wir in Costa Rica hatten! Große Auswahl und hochwertige Produkte.

Very correct hotel in the middle of San Jose. Nice dinner and super breakfast. Service is great (Thank you Luis and colleagues). Rooms are ok. Basic for European standards but clean and tidy!

We stayed in La Dama Elegante room 607. It was probably the best room in the hotel. Service was top notch all round: housekeeping, reception and the restaurant Azotea Calle 7. Food was lovely. I have no problem recommending this hotel to anyone.

We stopped for one night after arriving on an evening flight. The quality of the rooms were great. Clean, large and good aircon. Breakfast was very good with a broad range of buffet and a few options to order in addition. All the staff were friendly and obliging. We had dinner on the rooftop after arrival and were really impressed with the quality and quantity.

This hotel was beautiful!! We only had a short stay - one night and got in after dinner - so we didn’t even get to experience the rooftop restaurant. But the staff was warm and welcoming. The rooms were lovely and very clean and comfortable. There is an included breakfast buffet which was WOW. I highly recommended this hotel if you wish to see San Jose.
