Very nice clean refurbished hotel. Very grateful and thankful to the young boy at the reception Piergiorgio who spoke good English. Thank you for arranging a red rose for my wife - as it was our 25th wedding anniversary. We were on the first floor. Good WiFi and room was very clean good amenities. No safe though. We had caught the FlixBus from Rome took 5.5 hours. It stopped near the square so took us 15-20 mins uphill to the hotel. It did not stop at the bus terminal 50m away. Breakfast was okay but could have been better. The girl spoke English. Only boiled egg which we didn’t have. Asked if they could do scrambled eggs and they said no. Croissants were good but only 1 per person. Coffee especially the Americano was delicious. A refill was given. The hotel recommended restaurant Santi which we tried and was very good. The restaurant was near the big church. The room is great but needs a better powerful shower. I would recommend this hotel.

Dovendo accompagnare mio fratello in ospedale ”Casa Sollievo della Sofferenza” a S. Giovanni Rotondo per un piccolo intervento chirurgico ambulatoriale, ho prenotato per 2 notti consecutive, presso questo hotel, una camera doppia standard, colazione self-service inclusa con una buona scelta di dolci e bevande. Ho anticipato di ben 40 giorni la prenotazione rispetto alla data di arrivo per assicurarmi il prezzo più economico in quanto, con l'avvento dell'Anno Santo, è previsto l'arrivo in questo paese, famoso per il turismo religioso, di circa 10 milioni di pellegrini (a fronte di 30 milioni preventivati a Roma). E' un albergo della categoria 3 stelle ubicato a soli 30 metri dalla stazione degli autobus (che abbiamo utilizzato provenendo da Foggia) e distante circa 250 metri dall'ospedale di destinazione e dal santuario dedicato a S. Pio da Pietrelcina. La reception è aperta H24 con personale disponibile e gentile; le camere sono piccole ma pulite, il condizionamento efficace, la TV satellitare è di medio formato mentre il frigobar era momentaneamente vuoto. L'arredamento è minimalista ma essenziale con 2 piccoli armadi singoli distanziati, scrivania e appoggio per le valige. Tutte le camere sono ubicate internamente rispetto alla strada di scorrimento che conduce all'ospedale ed al santuario per cui sono molto silenziose oltre ad essere illuminate da ampie finestre, bagno incluso. La sera dei 2 giorni di permanenza abbiamo cenato nel ristorante di pertinenza dell'albergo, con accesso diretto interno per i clienti dell'hotel ed esterno per chi proviene da fuori. Il ristorante ha un'ampia sala pulitissima e ben illuminata artificialmente, con tavoli ben distanziati ed arredamento moderno e dal gusto raffinato mentre il servizio è assicurato da un cameriere ossequioso, competente e gentile sempre presente in sala. A cena abbiamo preferito, e consigliamo, orecchiette con cima di rapa ed un'abbondantissima frittura di pesce misto mentre, come dessert, il gelato all'amarena o la cassata alla nocciola. Ci torneremo per successive visite di controllo ospedaliero.

Very good hotel with perfect position, very good and professional services, very friendly staff, comfortable and clean rooms… We were there for first time and for sure we will come back again. I can only recommend this hotel! Thank you for hospitality!

Before recensing I have to make a distinction between hotel and restaurant. The restaurant service is excellent. The restaurant is 200 metres from the church of San Pio. The hotel from the site the rooms look comfortable and large, but living small and anxious. The refrigerator bar that was present was not working and was more dirty, it was almost essential in August, with the shower had the debris that did not allow the shower box fronts to be closed. Breakfast for those who are cheliaco (this hotel is registered in the AIC circuit) and, say, little scandalous: 2 merendin and just, coffee provided by a machine is not normal for those who are cheliaco ........so to MAI PI.
