An absolute gem. Last summer my wife and I were on our honeymoon and looking for a special place off the beaten track. More or less by coincidence we found this bnb and were very pleasantly suprised by the charm of the place and the charismatic and excentric owner Sebastiano. He produces his own vegetables, wine, vinegar and many other things - which are all delicious. Every night he cooked for us and every night we were stunned. It was so great, we couldn't believe it. If you're looking for a perfect clean hotel experience this is not for you. This is an old farm with pets, so you can't expect everything to be shiny. But the authentic feel, the personal service and the beautiful environment (definitely visit Scario and make a boat trip through the magnificent bay) made this a sublime get-away for us and our 1 year old baby, far from the tourist crowds. We left with a big box of wine, gin and other stuff made by Sebastiano and everlasting memories. Don't believe the people complaining about the entry road. Any person who can drive, can get there easily, even in our cheap rental.

I've hardly ever come across such a bad holiday house. The place is totally abandoned to itself. Beds are collapsed in the center, the kitchen is beyond dirty, the fields around the house are littered with tools and abandoned toys that are very dangerous. Everything is messy and just filthy. The road that leads the house is a nightmare even if you go with a jeep. The owner, a very nice guy, lives on a different world and believes that everything at his place is great. He'll tell you that we are looking at details, but the pictures talk for themselves. The surrounding are ok, but no view and 20 minutes drive to get to any beach, the nicer ones are further away. In 5 min walk you get to San Giovanni a Piro which is nothing to die for. Cilento is beautiful, don't make the mistake of getting your holiday screwed by this kind of holiday home.
